One of the most difficult thing for most new cosplayers is the eye makeup. It's so easy to mess up, and to this day, I suck at it.

Male and female eye makeup is of course very different, and since female is "easier", I'll start with that.

Basic anime female eye checklist:

•A pair of false eyelashes, and occasionally individual lashes for undereye
•White eyeshadow
•Liquid eyeliner
•Eyeshadow that matches the liquid liner
•Thin, angled brush
•Contact lenses

Got all that stuff? Alright. So female anime eyes are usually about size, so highlighting is important!

One tutorial can not work with all eyes, as I've learned multiple times. It's your best bet to look up videos yourself.

Same thing with male.

YouTube videos are your best friend. But most importantly, PRACTICE. Practice is really key so getting the perfect Haru-Chan eyeliner, or placing those lashes in just the right spot.

As far as eyebrows go, it can get annoying. As someone with naturally dense/fluffy eyebrows, I know that the glue stick trick doesn't always cut it. So what do you do when you need help with bushy brows? To the drag queens!

There are lots of great brow videos made especially for drag, so they work well for long or thick brows!

To summarize: YouTube and tons of practice is the key to getting that perfect cosplay look.
