We lay on the soft mattress,
Silence covers us as a blanket,
I hold you hand,
I don't let go,
Even when my fingers go numb,
I didn't leave,
Not even when the sun went down,
Down pass the trees and rivers,
Night slid into the room,
And I waited for darkness to erase everything.
