Sun was radiant
A beauty to behold,
She shines all day,
Strong and high in the sky,
Then night fell
And Sun died,
Her lover Moon,
He picked her up and held her,
Using her reflection,
To illuminate himself,
And when night ended,
Sun was reborn,
Sun kissed Moon,
As Moon said goodbye through tears,
Because there is no greater love,
For they died every time,
To let the other shine.
