I read somewhere that Paul and George's Moms were friends for sometime. So after the former had unfortunately died, George had to bring bags of sweets to Paul to help him cope with her death. Which in turn led to Paul not shedding his baby-fat just yet, and then Mike nicknamed him Fatty.
George: Ugh I feel like Little Red Riding Hood.
Paul: Hey, at least you're not the one being called Fatty.
... I think I came up with a new idea for a fanfic.
