I ended up calling off my date with Jacob. I didn't want him to see me so distraught. I wouldn't have been able to tell him what happened, so I thought I'd just stop the questions before they could start. Plus I had to think of a way to get my sister away from that psychopath.
I came up with a lot of ideas, but in the end none of them were executed. You can't save a person when they don't want your help and Lo never wanted mine.

As soon as Danny left I called Lo, her phone picking up on the second ring. "Hello? Ana, are you okay?"
I cry when I hear her voice "n-no Lo I'm not o-okay, your boyfriend just-"
She cuts off my sentence "I know, sissy I begged him not to. Please forgive him, he didn't mean it"
My heart breaks, she knew what he was coming here to do and she let it happen. I would have been... he almost... "y-ou knew?" My lungs feel like their shriveled, I can't breathe. The only reason I'm okay is because I called the police, I saved myself. Lo knew and she did nothing.
"What was I suppose to do?" She asks through her own tears "I wouldn't have been able to stop him."
"You could have call someone, the only reason he left was because I called the police myself"
She scoffs at me "you called the police?"
"O-of course I d-did I thought someone broke into the apartment-"
"Is Danny arrested?!" She yells at me "did you have him arrested?" The worried tone in her voice is now changed into pure anger, towards me.
"He's not in jail, he's on his way home. Lo you have to leave"
"I am not leaving him, I love him"
"He was going to kill me!" I yell at her "the man you love so much beat me up and almost ràped me, I should have told the cops everything that bastard deserves to rot in jail!"
