"Hey, why don't you pull the handkerchief covering the face of that lady? I want to see her face", Lay whispered to Chen. While Harriette was serving the blueberry cheesecakes on their table, Chen suddenly pulled the handkerchief that was covering Harriette's face. Harriette got surprised when accidentally, she hit Luhan with her arm who was about to drink his coffee making the coffee spill on his shirt.
"I'm so sorry! It was an accident! I'm really sorry!", Harriette said while Luhan's friends Chen and Lay are just laughing to her. Harriette forgot that the handkerchief was not covering her face anymore so Luhan looked at her surprised.
"This waitress is the most stupid waitress I ever met", Chen laughed.
"Harriette, what are you doing here?", Luhan was surprised that the waitress that was covering her face with the handkerchief since a while ago serving food for them was Harriette, his wife.
"Luhan, you know this stupid waitress?", Lay asked still laughing at her.
"No, I.... I don't know her", Luhan said.
"Seriously guys stop laughing it's not funny", Xiumin said so Harriette ran back to the kitchen and felt sad that Luhan denied to his friends that he doesn't know her and she got embarrassed in front of his friends. In their apartment, Luhan arrived after finishing some school works from his university while Harriette was just at the sofa watching tv.
"Harriette, can we talk for a while?", Harriette walked out from him but Luhan grabbed her hand.
"What are you doing a while ago in the coffee shop?", Luhan calmly asked.
"You don't know me right? Like what you said a while ago in front of your friends while they are laughing at me for my stupidness a while ago and you just said you don't know me? You didn't at least try to say to your friends to stop laughing at me? How could you?", - Harriette
"I'm asking you again, what are you doing in the coffee shop a while ago, Harriette?", Luhan calmly asked again.
"Then answer my question first, Luhan! Why did you pretend you don't know me a while ago while your friends are making fun of me?! Why?!", - Harriette
"Harriette, they can't still know about our marriage. I am a graduating college architect student and in my university, they don't accept married students. If they would know that I am married, they might kick me out of our university and I can't let that happen. If they kick me out all the hard works I did for years will be gone. Harriette, I am doing all of these not for myself but for us too. I want to give you a good life because I don't want to see you suffer. I want to show to your brother Kris that I can take care of you and I'm not the person who he thinks I am. Now I answered your question now tell me what are you doing in the coffee shop a while ago?", - Luhan
"You want to know the truth? When Kris knew about our marriage, he kicked me out of our home, he told me he will stop giving me allowances and he stopped paying for my school tuition fees and yes, Luhan I am working in the coffee shop you went a while ago with your friends. Now you know the truth what else do you want to know?", - Harriette
"Why didn't you tell me?", - Luhan
"Because I don't want you to worry about me. I don't want you to think about me always especially you're busy as a graduating college student. I don't want to be a burden to you, Luhan", - Harriette
