"Hey." Louis greets you, shaking your hand awkwardly from across the coffee shop table. "Hi." You reply weakly not knowing how to start what you're about to say. "y/n...not to be an ass but..why did we have to meet? Whats so important that you couldn't text me about it?" He asks. You inhale sharply as your stomach turns at what you're about to say. "I know we've been broken up for a few months now Louis but we obviously dated for a really long time which is why I feel like you deserve to know.." You trailed off as your nerves got the best of you. "y/n.. if you're seeing other people that's fine..I am too." Louis says with an honest laugh. "It's not that." You quickly say, feeling a twinge of jealousy, wishing he hadn't told you that. "It's just that..well..I don't wanna force anything on you.." You say, attempting to find the best way to word things. "The amount you want to be involved is completely up to you- I mean whether you decide to come around or not is fully your choice, I won't be offended either way. And-" He interrupts your thought process. "Hold up y/n.. what're you trying to say?" "Louis..I'm..pregnant." You break it suddenly. his eyes widen farther than you ever thought possible. "Like I said if you decide to not be involved that's perfectly fine, I know and understand how busy you are constantly." You rambled on. "I mean I know you have a new girlfriend and the last thing I want is for something like this to come in between you two an-" "y/n, I lied." Louis said. "I thought you had a new boyfriend and I got jealous and y/n...I-I still love you." Now the roles had switched and you became the confused one and it was Louis' turn to explain. "If you'll have me I want you and our baby back." You nod slowly too shocked to speak.
