The streets were crowded as pedestrians hurried around on a busy Saturday. Serena sat on the bench at her meeting spot and waited for Calem to arrive. Her grip tightened on her purse bag that rested on her legs.

Today was her date with Calem.

From afar, she saw Calem running towards her. He wore a rather formal outfit and carried a bouquet of flowers in his hand.

"Hello Serena, I hope I didn't make you wait for too long. I should have picked a different meeting spot, it's too crowded here." The navy haired boy greeted with a smile as he handed her the bouquet.

"Thank you. And that's all right, I just got here as well." Serena smiled back nervously. She caught Calem looking at her outfit. "Does it look too casual? Sorry, I didn't really have enough time to pick out something so I just grabbed something random from my closet."

She couldn't just tell him that she was so distracted about Ash that she almost forgot about the date.

"Oh that's not what I meant. This looks beautiful on you, don't worry about it," he said as he held out his hand. The honey blonde looked at his hand hesitantly, but then decided to take it.

She should at least try enjoy the date since Calem had planned it out for her.

The first stop was a fancy five-star french restaurant. Everyone that dined there had extremely formal clothing and Serena could't help but to feel self-conscious.

"What do you want to order?" Calem asked as they across from each other at a table. He passed her the menu for her to examine it.

After looking at it for awhile, Serena passed it back to him.

"I'll take a soufflé please," she replied.

Calem looked at her with a raised eyebrow. "A soufflé? That's not a main dish. Here, I'll get you their best dish here, I promise you'll like it."

The honey blonde only laughed awkwardly with a nod.

After a few minutes the food was delivered to their table and the menacing aroma of fish travelled in the air. Serena's eyes were fixed at the plate of salmon in front of her. She gulped.

She wasn't a big fan of seafood.

"Oh uh, I don't really like seafood," she explained tactfully.

"Have a taste! The salmon here is really good," the navy haired boy said as he stabbed a slice of salmon with his fork. "Here, say 'ahhhh'."

Serena looked around awkwardly and ate the salmon off his fork. She didn't want him to feel bad. The honey blonde forced herself to swallow it and managed a smile at him. She didn't want to ruin the mood of their date.

"I-it's good," she choked out.

"See, I knew you would like it. It's my favourite thing here!" Calem exclaimed happily as he pushed the plate towards Serena. The honey haired girl stared at him blankly, which caused Calem to smile at her.

"Here, it's all yours."
