A/N: Grace: I don't own Soul Eater or any characters in this One-shot.  If i did, Kidd would be really bad at baking.

(yes, we are spelling Kidd like Kidd. Were sticking to the Manga spelling)

(Oh, and please don't take any of these one-shots seriously)

Kidd stood in the kitchen, starring at the cookies he made for his friends.  Why did he make cookies?  BECAUSE HE CAN.  Kidd continued staring at the cookies in frustration.  He spent hours making the batter perfectly symmetrical.  Yes, he measured everything in eights.  It's best not to ask...

"UGH! IT'S TERRIBLE! COMPLETE GARBAGE!" Kidd screamed at the cookies, while Maka walked into his kitchen.  Kidd never noticed her, and continued yelling loudly at the cookies, telling them they were asymmetrical garbage.  "Kidd?" Maka had a hint concern in her voice.  Kid turned to find Maka, with a very confused and concerned expression on her face.

"MAKA!" Kidd yelled at her, flustered. "THE COOKIES ARE ASYMMETRICAL! THEY LOOK HORRIBLE!!!" Maka stared at him, holding in a laugh.  Kidd noticed this, and immediately felt insulted.  He fell to his knees. "Why are you laughing at my pain?" he asked in a sad tone. "The cookies are asymmetrical. just like me....."  The depression in his voice made Maka stop laughing.

She frowned "Kidd, stop obsessing over symmetry.  It's not healthy" she gave a soft smile. "you don't need to be symmetrical to be an amazing person." she said to him. Kid looked up, with tears in his eyes. "Really?"

She got up and grabbed one of the asymmetrical shaped cookies.  She bent down to his level and put the cookie in his mouth.  He slowly chewed on the cookie, enjoying the wonderful flavor that came with the crunch. 'These cookies really do taste good.'   He swallowed the cookie, and as if on cue, Maka asked him, "how does it taste?"  Again, he looked up at her flawless face.  "they taste great, but what does that have to do with me being great without symmetry?"

Maka stared at him with a stern expression.  "It doesn't matter what you look like on the outside." She put her hand on his heart.  "It's whats on the inside that counts."  Golden eyes met green ones. "you really think that?" "yes, i do" Maka replied to Kidd's question. Then she wrapped her arms around him, and pulled him into a hug.

Maka pulled away from a surprised Kidd, and stood up, and stared at the plate of asymmetrical looking cookies.  She picked up one cookie, and put it into her mouth.  "you know what? These cookies aren't half bad.  You should really cook more often." She told him, with her mouth half full, and walked away, with a happier Kidd behind her.
