"Get out. Don't come back. Forget what has happened between us forever." Her dark eyes staring into his soul as she sneered at him her nose turned up in the air.
Just like the people they had always made fun of together...
Jared flinched, he words cutting a little too deep.
He couldn't think of a thing he had done to her to deserve this. He just wanted to be happy with her, and only her.
She had just sworn that they would be together "forever".
Guess things don't always go according to plan.
Now he was out the chilling wind nipping at his face.
He would walk until he reached the next town, then continue on from there.
He was a nomad now. A wondering shell, there was no soul left.
She kept that as well as every dollar he had ever earned.
But yet he still loved her, and would go back to her in an instant.
Love is stupid, irrational, and heartbreaking.
That's why he must disappear, and never look back on the life they could have had. Ever. Even if she wanted him to.
After all they couldn't end up "together" forever.
