Chapter 13

*Lizzie's POV*

"Do you think that she's going to wake up?" I asked nervously.

"Maybe, to break a sleeping curse it will take a lot of energy." Nikki told us.

"If it wakes her up I'm happy to sleep for a day or two." Cassie said.

"Yeah, maybe if we all work together we can wake her up and not have to sleep forever." Bianca pointed out.

"Great idea, but how are we all going to do that?" Megan asked.

"I think if we all cast the spell and point it at her then we can break it." Nikki said.

We all nodded and walked over to the bed.

"Okay, on three. 1. 2. 3." We all did the spell and focused on Brooklyn, the thing with this spell is that you have to be thinking good thoughts about the person for it to work. If even one bad thought came into your head you could end up sleeping. I kept remembering how nice she was. She helped me practice a complicated spell for 3 hours and never complained once, she bought Cassie lunch once when her mom was a day late to send her lunch money, she helped us look for Nikki then comforted her, she was partners with Megan and Bianca during Chemistry even though neither of them are very good and kept a positive attitude.

"Guys, I think it's working!" Nikki exclaimed.

"Keep doing it, just a second longer." Bianca said.

The magic stopped and Brooklyn sat up taking a deep breath.

"You guys saved *deep breath* me." She said.

"Of course we did, you're our best friend. Also, here's your anklet back." Cassie said.

"Well thank you, for saving me and the anklet. Why did you have my anklet?" She asked.

"Maleficent gave you an enchanted charm to keep you safe; sadly it also blocked the undoing of any spell on you. That anklet was the charm." Addi explained.

"Wow, so I'm guessing it's been an eventful few days for you guys." Brooklyn guessed.

"Actually, you were asleep or about an hour and a half." Bianca said.

"I'm still tired though, so I'm gonna go back to sleep." Brooklyn answered.

"See you guys tomorrow." Cassie said, walking out of the room.

"Bye." I called as I walked out.

The rest of the girls followed after they said goodbye and went to their room while Megan and I went to ours.

Authors Note: I know, I know. It's super short. I'm sorry. I'm currently grounded and had to sneak to my computer to type this so please don't be mean or anything. I will most likely be uploading another half chapter sometime before Monday to make up for this being so short.
