Mahiru pov
Kuro and I had been trying to gain allies left and right. I felt almost as if I should actually plan a day for Kuro since he hasn't gotten to relax lately. On the other hand we still have a lot to learn. Maybe if I invite everyone to a beach day we could keep a close eye on tsubaki and his subclasses while Kuro lounges around.
Calls Sakuya
Hey Sakuya, how do you guys feel about a beach day?
That sounds interesting...do you mean all of us? Even Tsubaki?
Of course, it's a good way to have some sort of fun together.
*time skip to le beach*
While Mahiru was setting up his towel, misono and lily ran towards him smiling and waving. Misono suggested he help him set up the towels and umbrellas. Mahiru agreed and went to grab another beach towel when another hand grabbed his and Mahiru looked up blushing. Standing in front of him was Sakuya with a goofy grin on his face that somewhat covered up the fact that he too had a light pink blush starting on his cheeks.
"Hey Mahiru need a hand? Oh I also got you this."
Sakuya pulled out a brown paper sack. Mahiru opened it up and inside was a star fruit.
"You know they say whoever you share a star fruit with your destinies will be intertwined forever no matter what."
Mahiru noticed Sakuya was still holding his hand. He didn't know why, but he knew it felt right.
All of a sudden a coffin landed in between the two and their hands broke apart. Tetsu came strolling up to them with his hands in his pocket. Tetsu grabbed the coffin and as he did that his other arm went around Mahiru leading him towards the others.
Mahiru I was thinking maybe you and I could get to know each other better.... I wanted to take you to my parents hot springs. I could help you unwind?
Mahiru gulped, he didn't understand what had gotten in to everyone. Did they all really want to be with him? He questioned himself. Mahiru decided to see if it was everyone acting this way.
He spotted Belkia flailing his arms around probably talking about how he and Tsubaki were wearing the same pink and red swim trunks. Tsubaki turned just in time to make eye contact with Mahiru before he approached. A big smirk played on tsubaki's lips.
"Well well look who finally came to talk to me. I've been waiting for you."
You've been waiting for me?
"Of course, I wanted to see if you liked my new trunks. I had gotten you a matching pair but someone decided to steal them..... I'm sorry Mahiru I only wanted to show you how much I cared for you."
Tsubaki are you feeling alright?
"Why wouldn't I, now that you are here."
Okay? Have any of you seen Kuro?
They both shook their heads no. Mahiru sighed and walked towards a beach towel with and umbrella that wasn't opened. Mahiru sat down and heard a whine.
Kuro!!!! I've been looking for you everywhere.
"I've been under this beach towel because the sun is too hot and there's too much sand everywhere. It's so troublesome I could die. Why would you bring me to this dreadful place?"
Oh Kuro, I'm glad you haven't changed. Everyone else is being crazy.
Mahiru picked Kuro up when he transformed into a cat and placed him in his lap but not before hugging him and giving him a peck on the lips. Kuro cuddled up in his lap and fell right to sleep. Mahiru loved it.
