10. Beautiful Disaster

After a long time ngayon na lang ulit kami magkikita. Yung deal na akala kong close na dahil nagchampion sya sa UAAP at nagchampion din kami sa Fil-Oil maoopen pa rin pala. The board decided na iwaive na lang yung planong magpanggap kaming couple ni Mika dahil sa magandang pinapakita ng both teams. Although close na yung deal, there are still some contracts to follow and one of those is this Preview magazine cover. Wala namang problem sakin if they decided to continue this contract because Preview will always be special for me when I'm with Mika.

The last time na nagkita kami during her birthday pa. I was about to confess my feelings to her but I find it unfair to Jeanine na nililigawan ko na at that time. Isa pa wala na rin naman akong pag-asa dahil nakikita kong may ibang tao na nagpapasaya sa kanya I'm an athlete, I take rish pero pagdating kay Mika andun yung takot na sumugal sa laban na kahit kelan hindi pinaramdam sakin na may right timing pa para manalo ako. I decided to give her up, not because I don't love her but because I know she can never love me back.

Pinili ko si Jeanine with the idea na since sya yung babaeng nakasanayan ko na magiging masaya na ulit ako pero nalaman ko na lang na hanggang ngayon mahal pa rin nya pala yung ex nya. I can be mad at her, I should me mad at her pero I can't dahil pareho lang naman kaming sumugal kahit hindi pa kami nakakamoveon. Ang kaibahan lang namin, sya sa ex nya habang ako sa babaeng matagal ko ng gusto. Yung love life ko parang free throw, minsan pasok pero madalas sablay. Siguro konting practice pa wala na kong maisasablay sa susunod.

Our photo shoot will be shot in Fortune Island in Batangas. The main purpose of the photo shoot is to promote the place na according to them perfect place for prenup, for couples and for summer getaways. We can't say no to this deal since its owner Jose Antonio Leviste promised to support the La Salle sports program in return. We only need a day to finish the shoot pero the Virtual Playground family decided to stay there for 3 days and 2 nights as a reward for Mika's achievements and a good luck gift for me before the season starts.

Today, Thursday morning is our scheduled departure. 4 am is our call time since it's a long ride and we need to start the shoot at around 9-10am in the morning. Hinatid lang ako nila Mama and Papa sa Virtual Playground office kung saan ang meeting place naming lahat.

Sir Mark, Joric, Ate Pacs and other staff of VP fam will join us plus the whole Preview mag team. Nauna akong dumating kay Mika. It's already 3:50 in the morning pero wala pa rin si Mika, not a morning person problems siguro. Before the clock hits 4am nagdecide na silang umalis at nagtataka naman ako kung bakit dahil wala pa si Mika pero aalis na.

"Joric wala pa si Mika tapos aalis na tayo?" I asked Joric habang binibitbit nya yung mga gamit namin.

"Beshie don't worry hindi naman natin iiwan si Mika. Nasiraan daw eh so dadaanan na lang natin kasi malapit na naman sya. Hindi ka ba tinext?" tanong ni Joric who obviously doesn't have any idea na hindi naman kami in good terms ni Mika. In good terms naman pala pero nag-iiwasan. Basta malabo.

"Ah I see. Let's go" yaya ko sa kanya and at the same time my way of avoiding his question.

Lumabas kami ng office at sumakay sa isang mini bus for the VP fam while the other bus is for the Preview team. True enough nasa malapit na lugar na nga si Mika, konting andar na lang ng kotse hindi pa umabot. Almost but never enough, parang kaming dalawa lang.
