The crowd stared in shock. Pearl went to strike again, but Rose grabbed her arm. "Wait," Rose said to Pearl. "Let's go." The rebels fled. Garnet looked down at her body. She unfused. Blue Diamond came toward them. "The rebels have fled. Sapphire, this is not the scenario you had described." "I don't know what happened. I-," Sapphire started, but Ruby interrupted. "It was me. I did it" "How dare you fuse with a member of my court," Blue Diamond bellowed. "You will be broken for this!" The crowd of gems walked toward them. Sapphire grabbed Rubies arm and ran. Despite Ruby's pleading, Sapphire kept running until she got to the edge of the cliff. Sapphire jumped, bringing Ruby with her. At the bottom they met the rebels again but soon became Crystal Gems themselves.
