AUTHOR'S NOTE: Hey, fellow readers. This is the very first book I am writing. I'm astounded by all the books that I have read on this site so far. Please comment your opinion so I can improve my story and my writing style based on your criticism. But please lay out your opinion in a nice way. With that said, I hope all of you enjoy this story. :)
The queen stared up at the moon as it took on a reddish hue. Its a clear sign. The prophecy has begun.
The small skitter of feet alerted the expected presence of Nashria, the queens most trusted and beloved maiden.
"I guess you know the prophecy has started. She has come unto the Earth," Nashria stated. "My lady, are you alright?"
The queen turned around. The bright moonlight chased away the shadows from every surface. Her face looked young and unexperienced, and she is indeed so.
"I am fine. I just didn't expect it to take place so soon. As you know, Nashria, the whole fate of this multiverse and our very lives lie in the hands of this newborn. We can only hope she knows what to do with this power." The queen let out a long, weary sigh.
"You best get some sleep. Its would not do you good to worry so much. What will come will come." Nashria came forward and laid a hand gently on the young queen's shoulder. She gently guided her to her bedchambers, away from the elegant balcony they have been standing on.
The moment the queen shut her eyes, her mind flooded with dreams. Some pleasant, some not so pleasant. The prophecy whispered in her ears, as it had been doing for the past nights.
Meanwhile, the red moon lightened its colour as the future changed its path once again.
