Sirius never let Remus go anywhere on his own.
"There could be wolves out there!" he'd say.
He was just so afraid that he would lose his love to one of the terrors out there, especially werewolf haters. Remus kinda got annoyed by this, but he'd get over it after a minute or so.
Sirius also liked to encourage Remus to eat healthy foods, even though Sirius would eat like 10 chicken wings in the span of 20 minutes. It was a miracle that Sirius wasn't fat.
