Remus's parents were essentially homophobes, but after getting to know Sirius, they lost that judgment. They loved how good he was to Remus, how he would give his life for their son.
Sirius actually really liked Remus's parents, but of course not as much as James's. They were just as protective of Remus as he was, and loved him the same.
