Ch.24 Maybe

"Yes I understand your point" I replied smiling. 

"It's already six in the evening. I think we should go back to our dorms" she said after checking the time on her watch.

"What? I'm not yet done" I thought it's still five thirty.

"Here copy mine" she offered but I shook my head.

"That's not fair, go on first it's alright" I said while motioning her to leave already. 

I don't have a choice but to respect her decision to not tell me anything, of course her loyalty is with Allison. She's right that I am just paranoid. 

I picked up my pen and immediately started doing my assignment as soon as she left. I'm too focused on it that I didn't notice that Luna is already standing in front of me.

"Hey" she said flatly. I looked up at her and smiled.

"Hey too" I replied before putting down my pen.

"Where's your bitch girlfriend?" she inquired with her arms crossed. I frowned, she's still angry with Allison because of the incident where she saw Keena hugging her. I know what happened because Keena and Allison told me about it and I believe them.

"Don't call her like that" I rebuked her politely.

"I can call her whatever I like" she said irritably.

"Then don't call her like that in front of me" I said seriously. She gazed at me for a moment before sitting down.

"You really love her do you? I wonder if she feels the same" I know that she's not yet in love with me but it still hurts when other people say it to my face.

"Of course, I'm wondering too if you love Keena" I counter asked. Her face harden upon hearing Keena's name.

"Who're you to ask me that" 

"I'm her friend and I believe I am entitled to ask you that because I care for her. You can't stand to be committed with one person, you hurt her" I said without hiding the anger and disappointment on my voice. 

She's at lost for words for a few seconds and leaned closer to me afterwards when she recovered.

"First, that bimbo girl kissed me. Keena didn't see when I pushed that girl away because she already ran away" I just raised my brow at her as a response because her explanation is not convincing enough.

"Second, I am being a friend to you as well right now" She said smirking.

"Really? a friend?" I asked in disbelief. 

"December one" she said flatly.

"What's with that date? That is today I know" I said dryly. She pretended to think for a moment and clicked her tongue afterwards.

"Why not ask your girlfriend?" I got irritable because she just repeated what Missy told me earlier.

"Why don't you just tell me?!" I said abruptly in annoyance.

"You're probably thinking that you're lucky because Allison is now your girlfriend, don't be" she said smirking.

"Yes I am lucky, and no matter what she'll say, I will believe it" I replied adamantly.

"You really think she will tell the truth to you?" she said sneered.

"What truth? I'm sorry but I don't get what you're saying" I asked confused.

"The whole truth, the truth why she accepted your confession" I never thought that there is another reason why she accepted my confession aside from liking me.
