"Yeah, I need to meet someone" she said flatly.
"May I ask who?" I don't wanna be nosy, but I feel like there's something that she's not telling me.
"Business" she said before sitting beside me.
"I've noticed that you also wore black last month, and the month before that" I did my best to not sound suspicious.
"What's wrong? do I look bad on it?" she asked evasively.
"No. it's just that you're not feeling well, can't you postpone that business meeting?" I explained patiently when I felt that she's starting to get annoyed by my nosiness.
"Dad won't allow it. For him, business is business" she said exhaustedly. She then caressed my right cheek and smiled at me afterwards.
"I don't really understand why work at a young age when you're already rich. It's like you're a working student" I ranted.
"It's the curse of being rich. If only I can give this responsibility to Missy I'll do it" She said before standing up.
"I need to go. I'll talk to you when I come back okay?" she said sweetly before leaning down to kiss my forehead. I just nodded in approval as a response and waited for her to leave.
I stayed for a couple of minutes to rest before going out as well to eat with Missy. We still have a class and I don't wanna be late.
Five o'clock already came but Allison hasn't come back yet from her business meeting.
"Hey Missy, who's Allison's going to meet today?" I inquired whispering. We're doing our homework in the library but I can't concentrate.
"Meeting? She's at home right? She's not feeling well when she woke up" she replied while her focus still with our assignment.
"She's not. In fact she went out and told me that she needs to go attend a business meeting and she's wearing black" I said frowning. Her focus immediately turned to mine when she heard my last words.
I frowned when I noticed her reaction.
"What?" she asked uneasily.
"Is there something that I need to know? Are you hiding something from me?" I asked suspiciously.
"Salty, If Allison says that she'll be in a meeting, she is. As for the black dress, it's her fashion statement" she said chuckling but she still looked uneasy. I nodded because she has a point and I also know that Allison likes black. I can accept that excuse, but somehow, there's still a part of me that's not convinced.
"Has Allison been in a relationship before?" I inquired curiously. She became uneasy by my sudden question.
I want to know more about Allison but she's like a closed book that can't be opened, so instead of asking her, it's better to ask Missy.
"Uhm, well, Ali has lots of suitor" she replied ambiguously. I frowned again because it's impossible that she doesn't know about her sister's previous relationship
"Okay" I said still unconvinced. I fell silent for a while but started asking again because my curiosity is killing me.
"What about fling? did you notice anything? if yes, was it a boy or a girl?" I whispered. She puts down her pen and sighed.
"So this is what Allison can do to you huh? You're starting to get paranoid. She's just went to a business meeting Salty, so chill okay" she assured me. I nodded in understanding before leaning my back on the chair.
The thought of Allison having a relationship with someone before somehow made me curious.
"I'm not in the position to tell you anything because it's not my life. Anyway you can ask Allison anything since you're already dating, you're entitled to do that" she added after a moment.
