Don't blink
Cause time will pass you by
As for the angels weep
When they try to survive
Stone cold, looking through the window
New home is the past
Future is coming too fast
Don't blink
Leave the life I once knew
Flying through time and space
Leave all the memories of where I grew
But I'd do it again just to see your face
Don't blink
Don't look away
Cause sooner than you think
We will all be dead
Don't blink
Still alive but 6 ft in the ground
Promise me, don't turn around
Don't blink
This has to be a fantasy
This can't be real
Why can't I see
Why can't I see the demons coming at me?
Don't blink
Cause time will pass you by
The doctor weeps
Because we might not survive
Stone cold, coming for me
Turn away and It will be free

What a great way to start off this poem/ lyric journal. With a slightly disturbing poem. Wonderful. I hope you like it.
