"Para saan naman ang Stonehenge? Anong mayroon doon?" tanong ulit ni Sir. He's expecting that everyone did an advance reading. Hindi siya nagpapamigay ng Power Point Presentation pero sinasabi niya sa amin ahead of time kung ano 'yong topic na idi-discuss niya sa amin and that's enough for us to do advance reading on our own.
Nagtaas ng kamay si Vlad, 'yong kaklase namin na babaeng medyo kulot ang buhok na palaging nakaipit ng mataas. "It is used as astronomical observatory, Sir. Uhm, a religious site po," nakangiti niyang sagot.
He continued to discuss the heel stone, solstice and druids. Nang matapos niyang i-discuss ang buong Prehistoric Architecture, he did a little recap before proceeding to Mesopotamian Architecture. Three hours ang subject namin sa kanya kaya sulit naman ang oras.
We had a quiz after his discussion and I got twenty-six out of thirty items.
I thought idi-dismiss niya na ang klase but he gave us a plate. Agad akong na-excite dahil first time na nagbigay siya ng plate sa amin.
"Based on your scores on the quiz earlier, all students who got a score that's an odd number, your plate will be Catal Huyuk. All those who got an even number, your plate will be Persepolis. Deadline of submission is on Thursday."
Agad akong kinabahan dahil Persepolis ang napunta sa akin. Mas madali sana i-drawing 'yong Catal Huyuk. Napakahirap ng Persepolis para sa akin dahil beginner pa lang naman ako at wala talagang talent sa drawing and rendering.
Pagkatapos ng klase namin sa HOA, lumipat na kami ng room for our next class, Theory of Architecture. Parang nawala bigla ang antok sa sistema ko dahil makikita ko na ulit si Ressler.
Talagang umupo ako sa pinakaharap at tinapatan ko talaga 'yong Instructor's table para talagang kaharap ko siya habang magdi-discuss siya mamaya.
Pagkadating niya ay inayos niya na agad 'yong laptop pati ang projector.
Napasimangot ako dahil hindi niya ako tinitingnan o pinapansin man lang. Napakasungit talaga no'n sa 'kin.
"Sir, nag-lunch ka na?" pagkuha ko ng atensyon niya. Kitang-kita ko kung paanong kumunot ang noo niya kahit hindi siya nakatingin sa akin. Hindi niya ako pinansin!
"Ako, Sir, hindi pa ko kumakain ng lunch," I said while pouting. He glared at me the moment I said that.
"Then feel free to get out of my class and have lunch, Ms. Sanchez."
Mas lalong humaba ang nguso ko.
"Sungit," bulong ko.
Hindi niya ako pinansin at nagsimula na siyang mag-discuss about Marcus Vitruvius.
And because I want to have his attention, I raised my hand when he asked about the three attributes of all buildings.
"Yes, Ms. Sanchez." He had no choice but to call me. Now I have your attention, Ressler.
"Firmitas, Utilitas, and Venustas," I answered, waiting on his next question.
"And what are those?" he asked.
"Strength, Utility, and Beauty."
My lips curved into grin when I saw him smile.

Para akong bangag na naglalakad sa hallway. Tatlong major subjects ang nairaos ko kanina. Sobrang nakakaubos ng lakas. Gusto ko na lang agad makauwi para humiga. Miss na miss ko na ang kama ko.
"Are you really serious about this?"
Nagitla ako sa biglaang presensya ni Ressler sa tabi ko. Pauwi na rin kaya siya?
"I am," I replied.
"Bakit ayaw mo na mag-med?" he asked me again.
"I told you a million times already, I don't want to become a doctor."
"Why? It's one of the most ideal jobs. I thought you're already cool with it since natapos mo naman 'yong Medtech."
"Are you now interested in m—"
"No. I'm just trying to change your mind, Ms. Sanchez. Architecture is not a playground."
"I'm not playing, Ressler."
"Whatever, Ms. Sanchez. By the way, uuwi ka na ba?"
Lumapad naman bigla ang ngiti ko. "Bakit? Ihahatid mo ba ko?"
"No."
I frowned. "Oh, okay. I thought you'll give me a ride that's why you've asked."
"Pupunta ako sa inyo mamaya."
Agad na nagliwanag ang mga mata ko dahil sa sinabi niya.
"Kylo invited us for dinner. Kasama sila Miguel," paglilinaw niya pero nanatili pa rin akong nakangiti.
"Sabay na tayo pumuntang bahay, okay lang? Sabay na 'ko sa 'yo?"
"You brought your car today, Ms. Sanchez. Nakalimutan mo na ba?" nakangising sabi niya saka niya ako iniwang nakatayo dito.
D*mn.
I shouldn't have brought my car!
