The first meeting

Eren started walking to the subway, he had put on a light blue button up. The blue counteracted the deep ocean shade of his eyes and the black pants he wore failed to capture the godly tan of his skin. He "brushed" his hair with his fingers trying to get it to lay correctly for once in his life, but of course it failed.

He didn't forget he was going to meet Rivaille for a mission; he just didn't worry about it in the moment. As he was guided by the crowd of people down those green steps and behind the yellow line, he waited for the subway.

Levi put on his red shirt and black pants, he had his signature cravat placed perfectly on his chest. The location he had discussed with Eren was a small local restaurant, one he knew he could visit seeing as he's made meeting there before.

This restaurant was closer to Levi, and purposefully so. He wasn't going to walk to far to meet this brat. Of course, Levi had no clue what Eren looked like, but he had a feeling if the brat was anything like the past agents he worked with he wouldn't be worth his time.

Levi was there by six fifty, he moved to the back like he had told Eren. His face was toward the door although that wouldn't do Eren any good. Eren looked to the clock on his phone and sighed when the time said five minutes to seven. "Shit, I can't go in yet." He started walking down the block acting like a tourist lost in the big city. He even went as far to ask for directions.

The woman Eren had stopped smiled a bit. "Dear, it's right down the street here, you must of walked right past it."
"Oh," Eren laughed a little playing his part still. "Well thank you." He said and she nodded. In all honesty, he hadn't expected someone to speak so nicely.

He reached to the cool handle of the door and walked in exactly as the clock hit seven. Levi looked up but dismissed the boy at the door, there was no way that could be the brat. Eren skimmed around the back a bit and quickly saw the cravat--he wouldn't admit he had to google what a cravat was--but he made his way to the back booth.

Levi looked to Eren. "Rivaille?" Eren asked and Levi nodded a bit.

"Yea...I didn't expect you to be...the way you are?" Levi's sentence was said as more of a question and Eren chuckled a bit before sitting down.

"I cheated a bit, I had a small description of you from Hanji." Eren admitted. "But I'll take your sort of question as a complement."

"Tsk...fine, but that's the only one you get." He said.

"I think I'll manage." Eren flashed a smile and Levi wanted to smack it off his face.

"Am I going to have to remind you this isn't a date? We are here to work, do you understand what that means?"

"Sir, yes, sir...are we eating or...?"

"You can eat if you want, but I have information to discuss with you. Agents Ral and Jinn were kidnapped."

"Woah what?" Eren stopped him and Levi held up his hand before continuing.

"Ral's body was sent to the office, it's not safe to assume Jinn is dead but it's safe to say he's still being held captive. We found no fingerprints of even a drip of evidence to who killed agent Ral. However, news reports have talked about a new upcoming gang called the Titans. Their motive so far isn't clear; members have been arrested for juvenal things."

"What kind of things?" Eren asked leaning closer without realizing it, the look on his face was a strange mix of sorrow and a kid in a candy store.

"Graffiti, robberies, auto theft, and a few other things." Levi explained.

"So then why are we talking about them?"

"We don't know anything about them, or what they are capable of, they seem to be in the starting stages, just trying to strike the fear they can. After all, they could still be very capable of murder and kidnapping."

"Fair enough..." Eren sat back again as he thought for a second or two. "And we don't have any lead on them or anyone else?"

"No, we don't."

"I have an idea..." Eren said with a slight smirk. "And you get to stay undercover."

((A/N))
So I was gonna make this fluffy and cute so it almost seemed like a date but I figured this was a better idea.
