The Promise

THIS TAKES PLACE AFTER IZUKU FINDS OUT HE WON'T GET A QUIRK

Izuku POV

yesterday I found out I won't get a quirk, I haven't stopped crying, all I wanted to do was be a hero! is that too much to ask?.. my mom still wants me to go to school tomorrow, but to be honest, I'm scared, I'm scared to tell Kacchan I won't get a quirk, I'm scared of everyone else finding out, but what can I do? to prevent all that, I suppose nothing.

I'm in my room sitting on my bed, tears flowing out while I have my All might figure in my right hand, I stare into its eyes asking 'Why All might? why? I want to be a hero just like you! LIKE YOU!', I continue to cry questioning the figure.

Knock Knock, "what" I yell trying to hide the fact that I'm still crying "Izuku dear, can I come in?" my mom asked me in a soft voice "ye-yeah" I sniffle, "Izuku, Honey" my mom opens the door and looks at me with eyes full of sadness, "ye-ye-yeah m-mom?"  I watch her walk into my room, placing a plate of cookies on my nightstand next to my bed "I'm sorry Izuku" she lets out a fake smile, she walked over to the end of my bed and stood there silently for a bit, watching me cry, after around 5 minutes she started to walk away, before she walked through my door I heard her lightly say "I'm sorry"

 I stopped crying around 13 minutes later, I was so tired now, I had such a long day, it was so bad and so long, all I want to do is see Kacchan right now, he always know's how to make me smile! or make me feel better, I just hope tomorrow he can make me smile.

I ended falling asleep, still with the All might figure in hand, at some point in the night someone but the blanket on me so I wouldn't get cold, I'm guessing my mom since my dad is always working.

"IZUKU! wake up!"

I let out a big yawn and sat up, I noticed that the All might Figure had fallen on the ground, I got off my bed, and left the figure there, I went to my dresser and got a gray long sleeve shirt that was too big for me and a pair of black shorts, I changed then walked over to my door opened it and walked out of my room silently closing the door behind me.

"Izuku?" I heard mom call out to me "ye-yeah?" I walked down the stairs noticing my mom in the kitchen, "Goodmorning sweetie," she said in a soft tone, "Goodmorning" I walked over to the living room and sat on the couch, I grabbed the remote from beside me and turned the TV on, it was on the news channel.

they were interviewing All might, I imminently turned off the TV "Izuku what do you want to eat today?" Mom asked "Nothing, I'm not hungry", "Okay sweetie, I'll pack a little more for lunch then" My mom let out a glowing smile, "okay" I whispered back.

I sat on the couch for 4 minutes not saying anything "Ok, Izuku lets go now" I heard my mom say from the kitchen " I already packed your bag" I stood up to see my mom smiling holding my bag, "here" she smiled giving me the bag, I walked over to the door and started to put on my shoes, after I was done that mom and me walked out to the car, I sat in the back as always.

we arrived at the school shortly after 8:13AM, my mom stopped the car in front of the building, she got out of the car and opened my door, she let me out and checked the back making sure I wasn't forgetting anything "okay, you're good!" she smiled I then ran off to the school doors "BYE IZUKU, HAVE FUN" I heard her yell as I ran off.

I walked into class being greeted by Kacchan, he tackled me to the floor with a big smile on his face, Kacchan doesn't know this but I like him, more than a friend and i have since the day i met him, "DEEEKKKUUUU" he smiled widely, as if he was All might "hi Ka-kacchan" my face was turning a light pink "DEKUU" he hugged me, making a big scene "Kac-kacchan I ca-can't breath" I was tapping his shoulder "oh, sorry" he smiled and got off me, he then helped me back to my feet.

"okay class, please calm down and take your seats" the teacher smiled at all of us welcoming us back to another day of school.

10:25AM

"Okay, it's time for our first recess!" everyone ran outside to the playground, i walked out the door struggling to stay on my feet, i walked behind everyone else since I've tripped so many times when I ran out with everybody, "DEKKUUUUUUUU" i heard Kacchan yell coming from behind me, i gasped as he tackled me to the ground, "hey, Deku!, when are you going to get your Quirk!?!?" he asked impatiently, "Oh, uhmm Kacchan i need to talk to you" i looked away from the ash blonde boy smiling in front of me, he stopped smiling got off me and helped me up.

we walked to a bench that was surrounded by trees, it wasn't far from the park, but it was far enough so we could have some privacy, we sat on the bench in silence for a minute or two then Kacchan interrupted the silence with his smile "sooooo, Deku what is it?" he looked over at me, "well, Ka-kacchan, u-um i-i can't get a qu-quirk" I looked down at the ground watching the ants drag food to their hill, I started to cry.

"DEKU, DON'T CRY" Kacchan yelled wiping the tears from my cheeks, he smiled at me but I could tell he truly was sad "I'm sorry, Kacch-han, we can't be heroes together after all" the tears kept flowing "it's okay Deku! things happen YOU KNOW WHAT LET'S MAKE A PROMISE" he smiled again, "huh?" I looked up at him in question "OKAY" he points a finger out at me dramatically "Deku, since you can't become a hero, I'll become the greatest hero ever and protect you and love you forever!" I started to smile, 'is this him telling me he likes me more than a friend' "But Izuku promise me, you won't get involved with Hero stuff, I don't want you to get hurt at all!!" Kacchan looked at me his smile as big as it's ever been "okay" I smiled back at him.

"then it's settled" Kacchan smiled "I'll be your hero!" he hugged me, as tight as he could and I did the same.

SOOOOOO anyone like the new story? huh? lol anyway this is a completely different story from Cautious Actions, Cautious Actions is my main focus and this will be my second, if you like this new story idea please tell me, it would be nice to hear! anyway, thats all!!
