I ran far, as much as my feet could carry me, my strength forming into pain spreading through my muscles, stamina coming to an end as it began to burn my lungs reaching for air. I had no choice but to stop myself, hide behind an old looking tree and cross my fingers luck had my side today.Sliding down to the ground, my pounding heart kept inself in beat with the upcoming footsteps.

Suddenly the sun was long gone from my skin, a tall man giving me shade standing in front of me. He gave of no expression, almost resembling a statue of long lost heroes. Yet, he was no hero, the craving look and mellow laugh he gave off.. no, no here here.In a blink his bloody sword kissed itself up to my neck, pinning me against my "hidy hole" tree.

Words along with angered spit were exchanged, becoming one of his Jury Of Nine puppets was all that could save me from death's swing.

later...

Wincing in pain, I manage to muster a whisper, "Where am I?" Scaning the room, my glance staying at the book covered walls for a moment. A library, maybe? No, that makes no sense (Y/N)

"In my room," a man, the man from earlier explained, hearing me question myself clearly.

I managed to push myself onto my elbows to see this psycho, "Who are you? No, actually what am I doing here?" Questioning him my eyes wide in shock, searching my clothes and body for bruises or scars, anything. Crap he didn't.. right?

"There will be no need for your frantic searching young lady, you are as you were when we first met."

I scoff, "Oh of course your Majesty, all you and your men did was ruin my home, chase me down, almost kill me, oh and of course, you kidnapped me." I sigh, "I'm so sorry for ny terrible attitude you really don't deserve it do you?"

"Enough!" he yells, punching his table. The books, some fancy glass of expensive looking wine and pens shake along with the hit.We make eye contact, causing pain in my chest, I quiver in slight fear. "You will not talk to me like that, understood?"

Swallowing my spit and words, I nod.

" Zane Ro'Meave." he walks around the room scanning me, pulling my clothes closer to my body I keep my eyes on him. He looks away, stopping at the window for a slight moment, as if looking far away. "My men and I chased you down when you ran from your village, which we burned down to the ground. Now," leaning on his desk he met my gaze, "There will be consequences if you deny to join the Jury or try to escape in the upcoming days, your village has been in debt for long enough and everyone has paid," smirking he whispers, "except you."

Taking a moment to myself, to even find the right words, silence drowned my mind as this psycho guy walked closer. Each step closing the space between us, my body becoming more stiff and cold as blood drained from my face. His looks kill, and all along I thought it was all a myth. "You cannot do this.I have no need to listen to you or respect your needs." I muster.

Leaning to my face, his cold palm grazes against my cheek, sending shivers down my spine as the hairs on my back go upwards waiting for the worst to come. "Then darling, you're aware of what I have to do." Looking me up and down he smirks, one of his hands slightly gripping his sword.

"You think I'm scared of you tough guy?" his grip on me became nothing but stronger, I swallow my breath, my entire being giving up on me as he held me."
