1. My laptop keyboard is broken and I'm going to get it fixed today but can't promise it will be in my hands for a week or two

After wrapping a towel across my now overly sensitive skin, I make my way back to my room. I grab an oversized tshirt to throw on and climb into bed. After tossing and turning for about an hour, I groan and stand up to grab the notebook from Summers box.
Running my hands over the cold leather brings goosebumps to my skin. This notebook holds too many dark memories and secretes that I've been to afraid to reface, but I really have to do this.
I slowly opened the worn cover ran my hands over our names. I could feel the hot tears threaten to spill over but I refused to let them.
I turned to the first entry and began to read:
December 15, 2012
California , I love you so much. I'm sorry we are fighting once again. This idea is a lifesaver and I'm glad we thought of writing down our fights for the future. I'm just so upset that you weren't there for me when I needed you the most. I get it, you were out for your birthday but you didn't even bother to text me. Honestly you're a spoiled brat sometimes. I love you to pieces but you need to hear the truth and who better to hear it from than your best friend. I'm so sorry for being selfish, especially on your birthday but I'm hurt you didn't think to invite me and only invited your old friends. I get it you guys have been friends since kindergarten but don't I mean something too? I miss you:( come back soon California<3. South Dakota
At the mention of our stupid cheesy state nicknames the tears finally get to fall, only this time I'm prepared. I throw the notebook against the wall and head for the bathroom once again.
