Manik was driving fast, very fast! Was he trying to scare Nandini? But she was a tigress after how can a tigress come to get scared by this.
"I'm not scared by this." She said casually, looking infront.
"I will drop you off by the bus stop--.."
"I haven't even begun! I'm here to talk okay." She cut him in midway as she wanted to talk.
"I'm driving way too far from Mumbai. We might not be able to return back to Mumbai today." He said, concentrating on the road
"You know what, that kind of comment isn't that fresh or threatening. Like I said, I'm not scared, so don't even try to scare me!"
"Fine then.. I'm not stopping at any rest area until I get there! If you want to get out, tell me now" Manik was giving her a chance to get out but she was stubborn
"Manik..can we atleast talk, until we get there?" She asked cleanly and he nodded. When his phone beeped. Showing msg from baby bear. He quickly opened the msg
"Don't worry, I'm fine. There isn't network here so don't get afraid if my number is going out of reach. Coming to pick me up na?! Come jaldi. Love you Bhaiya♡ "
Manik smiled and heaved a sigh of relief. His baby bear was perfectly fine.
"Accept it." Nandini gave him a bag. It contained a watch as a gift! The same gift which Manik refused to accept. He glanced at it then again put his full concentration on the road
"Didn't you hear that I refused?"
"Yeah, I heard it. Btw, why did you refuse to accept it? You don't seem like a noble character! Anyway, you almost died because of me!" She retorted stubbornly
"I already said that--.." Manik was repeating the same words but Nandini cut him in between
"You're the one who think it doesn't matter but I have to repay you! No matter what. Ahh.. I see, do you want cash by any chance? C'mon tell me." She smirked. She thought that Manik needed cash? Nah! Never! He wasn't greedy
"What if I want something different Ms Kashyap?" He gave a lip sided smile.
"What do you want? Tell me frankly, I'll give you." She said looking at his direction. He stopped the car on the side of the road. He stared at Nandini who was already giving him a confuse look
"What if I don't want that watch but YOU.." She was stunned by his words! He wanted her?! He leaned closer to her face, decreasing the short distance. They were close! Nandini was lost in his intense eyes!
"What if I want you, Nandini.." His husky voice reached her ears! Her breath started becoming heavy when she noticed Manik gaze was on her lips!
"Man-ik!" She whispered! She was getting attracted to him! She snaked her hands around his neck. She closed her eyes, Manik was staring at her face. She was looking pretty without any makeup!
"See I was right, you're surely interested in me." He back off and Nandini instantly opened her eyes. Manik was such a player..!
"I..I am not!" She sat properly. She was feeling a little awkward. The scene happened before was itself really embarrassing for Nandini.
