Dan was starting to worry. Phil hadn't been back for hours. Dan assumed at first that there was traffic, but it wouldn't take that long.

Dan got bored, so he turned on the TV. The news channel was on, and Dan was going to change it, but he saw something very alarming:

Man dies due to car crash

Dan thought that it couldn't have Phil, but with the situation he brought it into consideration.

Dan continued to watch the news for more information. He finally decided to call Phil.

Meanwhile on the TV, one of the people standing by shouted, "HEY HIS PHONE IS RINGING!" Dan said to himself, it was just a coincidence...until someone on the news team answered the phone.

"Hello? Do you know this man? He was in an...accident..."

Dan's eyes widened. He hung up and dropped his phone. He sunk to the floor.

His best friend, Phil Lester, was dead.
