"Y/n hey, are you okay?" My bestfriend Emma said snapping me out of my thoughts

"Yeah Em I'm fine I'm just kinda tired , I think Ima head home. It's getting pretty late anyways" I said giving her a warm smile, she looked concerned

"Okay but first tell me what's wrong.. you've been really distracted the past few weeks"

"Nothing I'm okay"

"I'm you're bestfriend y/n you can't lie to me" she said giving me a little push and smiling

"Ugh okay fine it's-"

"About Audrey ??" She said with a huge smile on her face

"Maybe.."

"Okay fine.. you know how I feel about her em, I've loved her since forever and every time I see her my heart melts and I just wanna be with her but I'm so scared she doesn't feel the same way" I said looking down to avoid crying

"This is why you've been avoiding her huh?"

"Yep.."

"Y/n listen, avoiding her isn't going to help okay ? You need to tell her how you feel, I know you've loved her for such a long time and I think maybe you need to tell her already, you never know her reaction might surprise you!" She said with a wink

"Yeah you're probably ri- wait do you know something I don't? Has she said something?"

"Hmm i don't know..maybe but maybe not, you gotta go home it's late" she said with a smile "and please tell her! We all can tell you're dying to be with her!"

"Oh my god okay I'm going home now, goodnight em!" I said getting up from her bed and walking out the door, "love you!!"

"Love you too!" She yelled back

I walked all the way home listening to music and thinking.. maybe I should tell Audrey already, it's been a long time since I started catching feelings for her and well everyone knows already I don't want her finding out from someone else that's not me :/
I get home and call Audrey.

*Phone call* (Audrey💘):

"Hello?"

"Hey, auds, do you think maybe you could pass by tonight? I kinda need to talk to you.."

"Oh shit..y/n I would love too but I have that date tonight I was telling you about, you know with Vanessa?"

"Oo yeah that's right.. I'm sorry I totally forgot." ):

"I'll pass by afterwards I promise !"

"That's okay you don't have too..have fun"

I hung up before she could answer.. I hate to admit it but I'm so jealous that she's on a date with someone else, maybe this wouldn't have happened if I would've just told her earlier. My chances are probably ruined now. She doesn't have feelings for me.
I look over at the clock and it's 10:30 pm..damn it's pretty late and I still have to do English homework so I get started on that, I hear the door downstairs ringing and I think maybe it's my mom but she's working until 12 so nope.. it's pretty late, who'd be here at this time?
I head down the stairs and go to the door but there's no one there..I close it and head back upstairs when it rings again Jesus Christ who TF is this, as soon as I open the door, Audrey pops out scaring the fuck out of me!

"AUDS WTF! You scared the shit out of me!" I said trying to catch my breath while she's laughing her ass off

"Hahahahaa I'm so sorry y/n I thought it'd be funny" she said in between laughs

"Oh it was hilarious" I say smiling and motioning for her to come inside

"What are you doing here? Weren't you on a date?" I said rolling my eyes at the last part..which she noticed

"Eh didn't go so well..it was boring and we just didn't click so I ended it early said I had an emergency" she said with a wink.. "can I ask why the eye roll when mentioning "date" ?" She said smirking

"Uh nothing it's just I was annoyed cause you canceled on me to go on a date, thought we were better friends than that!" I said joking trying to play it off😅

"Mhm yeah right little liar"

"Anywaysssss how come you passed by? It's pretty late." I say trying to avoid the conversation.

"You told me to pass by remember? Yeah I know it's late but it sounded like you really wanted to talk so here I am"

"Right.. uh we can do it tomorrow it's okay"

"Yeah no I don't think so , come on talk to me..you can tell me anything you know that" she says walking into my room and siting on the bed

"It's kind of hard to talk about auds it's weird and I don't wanna freak you out" I say looking down

"Hey, you won't ok? tell me..please" she says pulling my head up and then dropping her hand onto my waist..God she's so beautiful

"Okay I guess I'll tell you finally.. Audrey I love you, I have for a really long time and it's not the oh you're my closest friend type of i love you it's the I'm in love with you and wanna be with you type.. I've never wanted to tell you because well I knew you never felt the same way and I just kept it to myself"

I feel her hand reach up and grab my face softly pulling me closer until we were only inches apart, I feel her soft lips on mine..it feels perfect, we kiss for a few seconds and then she pulls away and looks at me in the eyes

"I love you too y/n , I Always have I just didn't know you loved me back, but now that I do I don't wanna let you go ever"

"What about that girl tonight?"

"I tried going out on a date to try and get over you but I just can't ..it's always been you y/n always will be" she said giving me another little kiss 🙊

"Good, I don't want you to let me go ever"

"I won't babe, I wont" she pulls me in closer so we're cuddled up together.

"Now you gotta change my contact name to something cute you know that right ?"

"Haha yes I know auds I know" I said giggling and giving her a peck on the lips, we start to kiss longer when my phone dings

Emma:" Did you tell her yet?!😍" Audrey smiled and grabbed my phone

Auds: "Yes she did em , prepare for a competition on who's a better couple 😉-Audrey (her gf!)"

Emma: "Yay!! And Game on auds!😈"
