Your voice mellifluous as the clock that ticked away
My body aches for your presence, my hiraeth, a home I can't describe
My limerence calls for one more dose of love, a pill I can't subscribe
Your words are ethereal in every sense of the word
And your tears are iridescent, let you free like the dove and bird
And our lives may me ephemeral, but our memory shall never be so
Igniting incandescent flames in this love, never letting go
My heart emollient will forever be your affection
Until it flames up again and burns like an infection
