Chapter 1

Emma's POV

I was about to go ahead with the others to Granny's but I turned around to see dad's truck coming over. I wait for Killian to step out and hug him. Then we head towards the rest of our group which consisted of my mom, my dad, Henry, Regina, Zelena and Jackel (A/N I don't know how to spell it please don't judge). "Killian..." I say very nervous. "Yes, love?" Killian responds, "You aren't still guilty over my return are you?" He asks a little worriedly. "No. I just wanted to tell you something. You know, when we're not in the middle of a battle, or when one of us is facing death. When things are just.....normal." I say taking him away from the gang. "And what's that, love?" He asks questioningly and nods when I hesitate. I have never really opened up to someone this much and honestly I'm scared even though I know that Killian will never leave me. "I love you." I say just barely above a whisper. But just enough so that he can hear me. A huge smile forms on his face as he presses his lips against mine and lifts me in the air. He puts me down and we separate just our lips as we catch out breath. "You have no idea how long I've been waiting to hear you say that. I love you more than you could possibly imagine." My true love says breathlessly. I throw myself onto him in a hug and he stumbles a bit backwards but hugs me back with just as much force. We are basically clinging onto each other. It sounds very cliché but to me, nothing could feel more perfect. "Killian, the others are waiting for us, we have to go." I whisper in his ear. He lets me go but still hold on to my waist as we make our way to Granny's.

Killian's POV

We head into Granny's and I see David, Snow, Regina, Zelena and Jackel at one table and Henry and a girl sitting at another one. I smirked at the sight and lead my Swan to a table for just the two of us. "So I was meaning to ask you where you were planning on staying." Emma asks me. "I haven't really thought about that yet." I say realizing it just now. "Well, you could stay at our place." She suggested with a nervous look on her face. "Our place?" I asks confused. "Yeah, remember the house you showed me in Camelot? It was meant for our future and now that everything is back to normal I was hoping we could have one. I mean, only if you want to." Emma rambles. I smile and answer, "Of course I want to, Swan" She smiles at me and I end up staring into her eyes. Her beautiful green eyes when I am interrupted by Henry sitting next to me. "Hey, kid." Emma says. "Hi. Guess what!" He says excitedly. "I got a date with Violet!" He exclaims. I wasn't really surprised as I did see him talking to her alone earlier but Emma definitely was. "I'm so happy for you Henry!" She says and hugs him. "This time I'll have a fair shot since last time she was being controlled." He rambles and then realizes what he said. "Oh Mom, I'm so sorry I didn't mean that." He apologizes. "No, Henry you're right. It's all my fault that your first date ended terribly." Emma says guiltily. I immediately put my arm around her as an attempt to comfort her. I feel her relax at my touch and the lad hugs her and tells her that it's not her fault and thankfully she stops feeling guilty. He asks me if we can meet later so that I can tell him ideas for his date and of course I tell him to meet me at me and Emma's house tomorrow at 3:00. "So, I'll go drop Violet at her house. Bye, Mom! Bye, Dad!" Henry says quickly as he rushes over to Violet. I'm stunned. He just called me his father. I looked at Emma and I saw that she too was surprised.

Emma's POV

I can't believe Henry called Killian dad. He hasn't said that to anyone since Neal died. He really must love Killian then. I'll just ask him about it later. I turn to look at Killian who is really tense. He looks at me and I nod telling him that he didn't imagine it. "Why did the lad just call me his father?" Killian finally asks. "He really loves you I'm guessing." I say. "But, are you really sure? It's a big responsibility and I know you love your boy more than anything and I don't want to-" I interrupt him by kissing him softly. "I trust you with anything, Killian. With Henry and with my life." I say lovingly. He looks at me for a few moments and kisses me again. This time with more passion and that's the moment I realize. This moment could never be more perfect. Although the moment didn't last long as the door to Granny's burst open and Killian and I immediately pulled away, looking at the door trying to understand what just happened. "Sorry, I'm late!" said a voice I never expected to hear again.
