A/N; Hey readers, sorry it's been a while but to be honest, I'd nearly forgotten about this - it's been a horrible week :( but here it is and enjoy :-) ♥

Chapter 15;

"Urgh. Lack of sleep, no makeup and travelling do not help my face." Kate huffed as she stood in front of the bedroom mirror.

In the bathroom, we could hear the shower running, warming up. We could also hear the radio on downstairs and my mum pottering around, no doubt finding something that 'needed' to be cleaned.

I walked up behind Kate and wrapped my arms around her torso, not seeing a single fault anywhere on her body. I placed my head next to hers and stared into her eyes through the mirror.

"Sweetie, I've seen you dressed up, I've seen you naked. I've seen you in your joggers, hair tied up with no makeup on. I've seen you cry, smile, laughing and mad. I've seen you sleeping and wide awake, hyper and mellow. You're always the same beautiful woman."

"... Where did that come from?" She asked, surprised as she turned around to face me, wrapping her arms around my neck.

I shrugged before bending down to kiss her neck. She moaned slightly but moved away. "Eric, you're mother is downstairs!" She mock whispered. I feigned a look of innocence before pulling her back to me and kissing her.

"I know exactly what your dirty mind is thinking - no." She scalded lightly.

"Are you absolutely sure?" I grinned cheekily.

"A hundred percent. And by the way, did you always have a double bed as a child?"

"No, only since I started visiting. Mum thought it 'cruel' to have her pojke sleep on a single bed now that he's an adult." I laughed. "But I guess it comes in handy now though." I winked.

Kate just laughed slightly and rolled her eyes. "What is a pojke?"

"Boy. Min pojke is 'my boy'." I smiled. "Great pronunciation, by the way."

"Aw, that's really cute. And thanks." She smiled.  "Right, I need a shower." she replied as she pulled away with a kiss and grabbed her towel.

With a happy sigh, I began unpacking our bags. Even though we had moved to the UK years ago when I was very young, mum had kept our house here. I had a few memories here, but the majority of them were at home in the UK.

I put Kate's clothes in the top two drawers of the chest, and mine in the bottom two. I had just put our cases in the cupboard when mum called. "Eric? Is everything ok up there?"

"Ja, Mamma!" I called back. "We'll be down soon."

"Don't think I don't know what you two love birds are doing up there!" She laughed.

"Mamma!" So embarrassing! From inside the bathroom, I heard Kate laugh.

At 3.45pm, mum, Kate and myself were all sat in the living room, relaxing and talking.

After we'd had had a shower, we'd helped clean up and mum had bought out my baby photos, much to my embarrassment.

Mum showed Kate her 'favourite' picture of me - I was 2 years old and I'd been sitting on the livingroom floor, wearing a red jumper and was holding a can of dad's beer in my hands. Kate had laughed as mum shown her literally every photo of me, including ones I hadn't even seen yet.

They were looking at the pictures for an hour and a half before they got bored and made a cup of tea.
