3. Elf and Swan

We stood there in silence everyone was staring at me I smiled nervously looking at my dad he nodded "GET BACK TO WORK!" he screamed everyone ran in separate directions hoping to escape my father's wrath. I slowly turn to Trip "hay..."I trailed off he gave me a really? look I smiled sheepishly "you're a fish", he said bluntly glaring at me I narrowed my eyes at him you want to be an asshole? fine then you get the bitchy pirate. "Ha yep I'm a fish, a fish who just saved your life from three mermaids who wanted to rip you to shreds and eat you, I could have left you to die you know, could've just kept living but no I dived into mermaid infested water and saved your bloody ass and showed you my secret that is really important to me no one knows except for my father and dead mother so shut your bloody trap before I throw you back in!" I said snarkily I then turned on my heel and walked away

"IVY!" my dad says tapping his hook on my shoulder I slap away his metal hand "nope" I replied turning over "get up we got a visitor and remember your cue". I shot up faster than that stupid crocodile that craved my father's blood. Throwing on a red and black dress I quickly applied blood red lipstick shoving on my hat and boots I was out the cabin's door. "LOOK WHAT WE HAVE HERE BOYS!" my father yelled waving his hook around, I silently suck up the mast keeping my eyes trained on the boy. "Your pirates" he stuttered stumbling back he lost his footing and nearly fell off the ship. Giggling quietly up the mast I grabbed onto the near by hanging rope and held onto it with a firm grip. "YOUR DIRTY PIRATES PEOPLE LIKE YOU STOLE MY MOTHER FROM ME" he yelled shaking his fist in the air for effect frowning I continued to climb got to emit the kids got balls but that hurt right in here right in the heart. Laughing my dad walked around the boy "what's your name lad?" he questioned filing his hands around he looked at my dad like he was insane. "YOUR PIRATES WHY SHOULD I TELL YOU MY NAME??" he screeched. I smirk waiting for my cue "fine then I will have to get my top crew member to ask you, and be warned they don't ask again twice" he said raising his hook in the air he pointed at my cabin door. "Behind those doors is the most scariest thing you will see don't let them fool you with their looks. They are mean and unbreakable with a killer sense of humour" he said raising his voice at the end. Grinning wildly I got into position for take off. "You may come out now" my father bellowed he Irish accent shining through. Putting two fingers in my mouth I whistled everyone's heads snapped up grinning I took my leap of faith and swan dive of the plank of wood and hurtled towards the wooden deck......

Reaching my hand out to a near by rope I swung myself closer towards the shocked soaking boy. Flipping through the air I landed in front of the boy. Smiling cheekily at him I said nothing just stared at him. He looked around fifteen with shaggy black hair and his chocolate brown eyes he could have passed as a thirteen year old boy if he tired. Smirking I stuck my right hand out at him. "The names Raven/Ivy but you can call me Raven" I said happily. He slowly grabbed my hand looking at me suspiciously I grinned. "Well are you going to give me ya name laddie?" I questioned letting my Irish accent slip through. Raising an eyebrow he replied "Baelfire" he mumbled. Smirking I swung my arm over his shoulders and stared at my dad. "See cap I got his name with out skinning him alive" I chirped sending him a look of triumph. Sighing he nodded his head. "Ivy take the boy to his chambers and show him the ropes" he grumbled, saluting him I took the boys hand and dragged him towards his chamber. "SEE YAH LATTER DAD!"

"The captains your dad?" Baelfire asked in disbelief. Shrugging my shoulders I threw myself onto a near by bed. "So where are you from Bae?" I quizzed propping my feet up on the bed. Shifting his eyes away from my figure he played with his hands. "From a place far away" he replied after a moment of silence. Groaning loudly I stood up and sat next to him. "How are we supposed to be best friends if you don't tell me anything about yourself?? it looks like I am going to have to break the waters aye?" nudging his shoulder gently I gave him a supporting smile.

"Well umm... my name is Raven/Ivy/Ember but only my dad can me Ivy and only my aunts can call me Ember. And I am 15 I just turned 15. I love reading and books I also like painting and swimming. I am half Irish and half Scottish so I have a mixed accent but I cover my accent by using and old fashion English one. My dad is the captain of the Jolly Roger and my mum died when I was five" I stated. During my whole speech I felt my gaze slowly drifting away from Bae to the mouldy cabin wall. Looking back at him I saw that he was smiling softly.

Turning my body fully towards him I waited for him to tell me about himself. "I'm Baelfire but people usually Bae I am 15 turned 16 in a couple of months. My dad called me Bae and I lived in the Enchanted Forest. But I ran away from it. I love reading and writing. I am just English but I would kill to be Scottish. My mum was taken by pirates when I was younger and I have never seen her since" He looked down not saying anything. I didn't say anything just pulled him into a tight side hug. "We have a lot in common Bae" I mumbled he nodded. "Since everyone probably calls you Bae I have to think of something else" I informed him pulling out of the side hug.

"What?" he asked his eyes filling with confusion. "You need an original Raven made nickname" I explained fighting a smile that was trying to break free onto my face. "Okay as long as I get to pick one for you" he said his face breaking into a happy smile.

"I have one" I said its perfect "alright what is it?" he sighed "Elf" I said laughing at his surprised face. "What?" he spluttered "Elf is in your name so Elf" I said giggling. Letting out a small chuckle Elf stared at me with a thinking face. "I GOT IT" he yelled laughing at his excitement I awaited my nickname.

"Swan"
