"I hope you don't mind the mess," I opened the door for him to enter.
"I haven't cleaned in a long time."

Tar manoeuvred his way around all the broken beer bottles on the floor, and plopped himself down on the couch.

"It smells funny in here." He stated, standing up again and wandering towards the kitchen.

"Do you have cleaning supplies?" He looked at me, with brows furrowed in question.

"Tae, you don't have to clean my house." I said, rubbing my tired eyes.

"You invited me to stay with you, it's the least I can do." He retaliated.

There was no point in arguing, he was strongly determined to clean my abomination to the home-owners society.

"Bottom left cupboard, middle shelf, at the back." I took off my jacket and hung it up.
"I'm going to have a shower!" I shouted down the hall.

Hearing a mufled reply sounding like 'okay', I continued into the small, tiled bathroom.
