Walking out in to the kitchen I could see that no one we ever late for free food. It's fine though, because don't we all?

Anyway, everything was going great. the kids were entertained playing with beach balls, water guns, and water noodles, while Tia, Marcus, & Carae watched them. On the other side of the pool was all the adults. We had table and chair all around the pool and one long one set up containing all the food. Everyone was having a good time but my attitude quickly turned sour when I saw Rashad step foot through the door.

"What the fuck is he doing in my house?" I thought to myself as I made my way over to him securing my sarong around my bathing suit.

"What are you doing here?" I said with a slight attitude, "You know my husband has a problem with you, I don't need any fights breaking out, especially because there are children here."

He raised an eyebrow with a smirk.

That only made me madder because he thought this was a game. Nobody was going to be disrespecting me or my family, especially in my own damn house.

"Actually," he started but was interrupted.

"I invited him," Chris said coming up behind me but wrapping his arm around my waist.

I looked up at him, confusion written all over my face.

"For business," Chris replied answering my unvoiced question.

Being that I'm part owner of Bliss I know he'd want me in the discussion but I wanted no parts.

I squinted my eyes at Chris, "Fill me in, I had to get the macaroni out of the oven."

I had to make any excuse I could to get out being in Rashad's presence. I knew Rashad wasn't as blatant enough to openly flirt in from of my husband but I still wanted to avoid him as much as possible.

I went in to the kitchen and sat at the island waiting for the remaining ten minutes on the timer before I had to remove the macaroni. I was staring in to space until Dionne and Kira came in.

"Girl, what the hell is Rashad doing here?!" Kira asked as she took a seat right next to me.

"Yeah, and talking to Chris at that," Dionne added.

"Chris invited him," I replied just as lost as they were.

"Did you know he was coming?" Kira asked.

"I didn't. And I don't see how something like this could slip Chris' mind. He should've told me."

"Why did he invite him? I could swore Chris wanted to kill him," Dionne asked.

"For business, he came to my office before about a business proposal, wanting to use Bliss but I told him he had to go to Chris because me going to Chris for him was never an option. I just didn't think that he'd actually do it."

"Well, since you're co-owner don't you have to agree and consent to certain things?" Dionne asked.

"Yeah, I do. But I don't want to be near him so I told Chris to fill me in. When they draw up a contract I'll be there then but right now no. I know he would be bold enough to make a move on me right in front of Chris but his eyes... I can tell by a certain look in his eyes that he's flirting and it's getting on my nerves. I know he don't really think I would leave Chris for his ass."

"Chris wouldn't let you leave even if you wanted to. He loves you too much and put up with so much of you bullshit. Yall together for life," Kira laughed.

"I'm counting on it. Him and our kids are my life," I smiled.

"Well give him more," Dionne smiled, "you really aren't getting any younger."
