Ever

Another day in the life of me, Ever White, yeah yeah I know I have a funny name and it meant something to my mom, So my dad tells me. I never really meet my mom, when she had me it was either me or her and as much as it hurt my dad she picked me to live. Im not saying my dad wouldn't have cared to lose me but it hurt to lose mom.

 Even for me being a girl and never really having a female figure in the family and going to school and seeing all the girls with their moms and having my dad with me and all the little kinder girls asking me wheres my mommy was and all I would do is shrug my shoulders because I really didn't know where she was. 

But enough of that sad story let me tell you more about my life now. I’ve always had a good life since my dad owns a music recording label, which one you ask? Atlantic. But that doesn't really matter to me. Yeah I get to do a lot of cool things like take trips around the world and meet celebrities but i didn't really care. 

Im a senior in high school, my dad decide to move to Orange County after I was born because he said it was calmer and more family “friendly.” 

You could say i'm a pretty big daddy’s girl, to some people they might even say i'm a “goody goody” but its not true, trust me.

Yeah I play the part but I guess you'll just have to see me in action to be the judge yourself.

“Ever come here.” My dad yell from the bottom stairs

“Coming”

I ran down the stairs when I saw my dad with a carry on luggage.

“You're leaving again??” I pouted 

“Yes, but i'll be back in two day I left some money on the table and you also have your card. Dont forget you have work in about two hours. You can invite some friends over but not a lot got that I don't want a party.”

“I know the trial.”

“Dont be late for work. I love you and I’ll miss you. Don’t forget to lock the door and call me for anything. Your aunt Teresa knows you’ll be here alone so call her if any problems too, I’ll call you when I land” He said as he gave me a hug and started to walk to the Uber waiting outside the house. 

“I love you too dad. And dont worry about me i’ll be fine and ill go to work on time like always” I said as I closed the door to the car. 

I waved as the car started to slowly start to fade in the distance.

*Take phone out and call Nancy* 

“Hey whats up?”Nancy said

“Guess who's out of town tonight?”

“Your dad!”

“Yup! party at my house, make sure to invite everyone, I go to go to work so meet me at Starbucks in an hour so we can talk some more about it.”

“Alright see you in an hour, Why do you even work you have a loaded dad.”

“Because I want to make my own money.”

“If you say so”

“See ya in an hour” 

“Bye” 

And with that i hung up turn my music on started rocking out to my playlist and got ready for another shift at Starbucks.
