Drowned

A glimmer in the distance caught my attention,

It's hypnotic entity hit me with no doubt.

The hunger in my heart and the thirst in my soul barred me from any affection

And with time led me to an unbearable drought.

Step by step I walked upon its firey route

Blindly walking into its raging flames

Leaving scars to deep and to profound

All while the burning sun derived me of what I had left

Yet my curiosity to reach this object was strong

As I slowly and progressively cleared the raggedy way

Only hope kept me going and wishing that I wouldn't be wrong

Until I I finally took the long and distinct step into the bay.

The fresh and cool water hit me like a knife;

A pain so satisfying and so greatly needed.

I took another step into the deepening water, slowly risking my life,

But I so desperatley wanted to reach it.

The closer I got to the glimmer,

The more tired I grew.

I felt that my chances of survival became dimmer,

But then I realized it was you.

When I saw such beauty sink into the ocean,

It's like a part of me bloomed.

My instinct was to keep moving and rid of the commotion

In order to pull and drag you out of the reach of doom

I swam and followed your limp body to the ocean floor,

Not caring one bit about my shallowing breath

I had one goal and one alone

And that was to take us out of the ocean's depth

We finally broke the surface, hand in hand.

When i looked into those eyes of yours, I saw more that my just my reflection;

I saw a new and completed man,

Who's heart was finally filled with some affeftion.

Slowly and calmly, we floated on the ocean's surface.

As time passed, I couldn't help but fall deeper and deeper in love with you.

Yet too strong was this current,

And I was no longer able to hold on to the perfect view.

The rabid ocean waves engulfed me once more,

Angry that I had taken it's near to be angel,

Jelouse and wanting to take me down to the ocean floor

Though I thrashed and gasped for another breath,

You slowly drifted off to the saftey of shore.

Yet I was robbed of all I had and now I slowly wait for death

But still I have that hope that I will meet you again once more..
