The Dragoness Fairy Tail x reader

Prologue

{Y/n} POV

The light that shone from behind my eyelids were suddenly shadowed, causing me to stir. I slowly open my eyes allowing them to adjust to the light. As my eyesight adjusts I notice a blurry figure leaning over me. I try to focus on the blue and purple figure. As my eyesight finally clears I notice it's my older sister smiling creepily while looking at me. I yelled and sat up quickly in shock, not thinking about the action. Grabbing my head in pain I heard my sister Melody cry out.

 "(Y/n) that hurt." She tells me, rubbing her head where I had crashed into her. 

"You shouldn't have been watching me sleep then." I tell her rubbing my own head from the pain. I looked at her to see she had an annoyed expression on her face. My pain dulled quickly and I giggled at her hilarious expression. Her purple hair was a mess and her blue eyes were glaring at me. I couldn't help but notice how much she takes after mom. She just shakes her head and starts to laugh with me. 

I finally spring out of bed I start to walk through the halls to get out. There I saw mom, dad and my older brother. Catching my gaze, my brother walks up to me and grins down at me. 

"It's about time you came." I look at him and return his smile. He has short black hair and orange/red eyes. He also has a few blue tattoos on his arm. He takes after dad. 

"Come on Val be nice, I just woke up." I tell him with a small smile. 

"That's not what you told me when you were yelling in my face to wake me up yesterday." He tells me glaring slightly. 

"Uh not you to." I tell him facepalming. 

"Huh? What did I do?" He asks me, his glare softening into a curious one. 

"You were just glaring at me! First it was Melody and now you." I tell him fake crying. 

"Okay okay I'm sorry." He tells me kind of scared. He knows how much my parents fawn over me, and they were so close to us that he'd surely get in trouble.

 "Yay! You're forgiven" I grinned happily as I skip to my parents, my mood having a drastic and immediate change. "Can we train now please." I beg my mom. Her silver eyes shining as the ocean breeze moves her blue hair.  Her human appearance resembling her water dragon form, her name; Valissia, matching her well.

"Sure (Y/n)" She tells me giving me a closed eye smile. 

"Dad when I'm done training with mom can I train with you?" I ask my dad. His monochrome and dark looking contrast to my mother was clear. His long messy grey hair barely moved with the wind and his red/orange eyes blazed with life. He has multiple blue markings on his arms; a similar marking to my brother. His name is Acnologia, the unknown dragon that is feared by many.  

"If you have enough magic then sure" He tells me, his normally cold expression going soft. I smiled brightly at his words, excited to further my magic ability.

"Okay! Lets go mom!" I grab her hand and pull her with me to our regular training area. She smiled and waved back before following me, her eyes shining with a mixed emotion of joy and regret.

Timeskip

I could feel my heart pound in my chest. I was trying to catch my breath. I lost a lot of magic while sparing my sister while she's in her dragon form. The form I have yet to unlock.

"Water dragon roar!" I yell, mainly to push her back and keep distance between us. As she was busy with blocking it I grabbed a small vile that was in my pocket and opened it. Something father had given me to help me possibly further my transformation. I shook out a bluish clear crystal and ate it, feeling a sudden surge of power. I felt my body shift slightly and pain seared through me. Once the pain died down, I couldn't help but notice the scales that had appeared on my arms.
