"You look different" he said as he walked closely behind me.

"I do?" I stopped walking and turned around to look him in the face.

"Hmm...yea, I almost didn't recognise you" Kent said

"Oh...really?" I asked

"Yeah...you look good" He replied.

I almost smiled but I needed to keep up the act that I wasn't interested in seeing him. "Thanks"

I couldn't believe Kent was standing in front of me and complimenting my looks. Just a day before, he hated the way I dress and now he was complimenting my look...

That very moment I was floating in the air and I wished that I could jump and scream for joy but I tried concealing my feelings.

"But I hope you didn't get all dressed like this because of me" Kent said, and I immediately felt my heart drop and my stomach churned with anger.

Why he always had to say those annoying things to me would never cease to amaze me. He was just so rude and annoying.

"Yeah...what? No way" I scoffed. I turned away and continued walking.

"I really am not attracted to you" Kent said and my heart sank the more. He was hurting my feelings but I couldn't let him see how much what he said hurt me, I just squeezed my palm so tight as I transfer all my pain on the pen in my hand by squeezing hard on it.

The poor pen.

"I'm not attracted to you either. I told you already, you're not my type" I threw my hand up in anger and my pen flew out of my hand. I watched it as it flew up until it landed at someone's feet.

I look up to see who it was and I opened my mouth wide in shock, almost forgetting to close it. An amazing image was standing in front if me and I just couldn't help but blush. It felt like a smile was already plastered on my face and I nearly fell over in elation as I continued to stare.

Where did he come from? I couldn't help but wondered.

Another cute boy was standing in front of me. He has a fairly round face with a little pointed chin and a sharp jawline. His blue eyes gently wandered below his well trimmed brow. He kept his mouth closed in a closed, curved smirking shape and his bright blond hair was thick and spiky in a way. He was tall and it really suits his body. He was wearing a red jacket over his broad shoulders and a black jean which is obviously tight on him. A black backpack was hanging on one side if his shoulder and an headphone round his neck.

He looked like a perfect bad boy.

He picked my pen up and walked towards me. I gently inhaled the scents coming from him and almost melted. I wondered if he went to the same school with me and if he did, Why didn't I know he existed? Maybe it was because I had been focusing too much on Kent.

"I guess this belongs to you" he said and stretched out the pen to me.

"Yea, thanks" I took the pen from him but I liked how it felt when my hand slightly touched his. He stood still staring at me like he needed to take something off me. Why was he looking at me like that?

"Alex, right?" He asked. My jaw almost dropped to the ground of the school parking lot. He knew my name? How on earth did he know my name? I couldn't believe it, I just wanted to scream.

"Yes" I quickly responded with a nod, trying to tuck my hair behind my ear.

"I'm Bryce..." he said as his lips curved into a cute smirked. I hated people smirking but damn, it looked good on him. His name even made it a lot better, Bryce. He had such a lovely name. Bryce. It suddenly clicked to me that I had heard his name before...
