Bio: One of the nine survivors of an ancient race of Cybertronians, Grimlock and his Dinobot brothers were created to defend the Primes. But Grimlock spent time training the youngest and most intelligent Prime, Optimus in the ways of combat. In his time as Optimus's guardian, the Dinobots failed to defend the Primes against one of their own. During Megatron's betrayal, the Dinobots where forced into a stasis lock while Megatron slaughtered Sentinel, Zeta, Nova, Vector and Solus. Upon reactivation by Optimus, The Dinobots and the Prime battled Megatron and upon their victory, banished the traitor to one of Cybertron's moons, Destron. Feeling guilty for not being able to save those he was created to defend, Grimlock exiled himself and the other Dinobots to the far reaches of Cybertron, but always had a communicator to contact Optimus with. In his millions of years wandering the Cybertronian badlands, the mighty warriors slayed thousands of Subterranean Cyberforms, the Insecticons. But when Megatron returned, Grimlock and the Dinobots where some of the first to join the Autobots, landing Grimlock at Second in Command. Grimlock saw the Decepticons as weak, using their power for evil. So he fought against them with sheer brute force and his unique alternate mode of a Tyrannosaurus. However, the Decepticon scientist, Shockwave captured the Dinobots and attempted to not only unlock the secrets to their ancient CNA, but also take their already powerful form and enhance that to create the perfect Decepticon soldier. He began experimenting on them, tearing them apart and putting them back together, siphoning Grimlock's intelligence to increase his already incredible strength. But the one thing Shockwave could never take from Grimlock was his sheer determination, which gave him the will to break free of his prison, free his brothers and tear Shockwave's arm off in an attempt to break out and warn Optimus that the Decepticons have a ship to travel deep space with. But the fight left Grimlock bloodied and beaten. In an attempt to save his long time friend, Optimus put Grimlock aboard the Ark and into a regenerative stasis pod to heal his wounds. The other Dinobots stayed in the adjacent normal stasis pods to accompany their brother. But, when the Autobots crashed on Earth, The Dinobots laid dormant for months. That is until three warriors of an ancient race of Cybertronians, the Predacons arose and powered over the CHA forces. So in a last ditch effort, Optimus awoke the Dinobots, telling them of this dire threat. After an intense fight, the Dinobots were given gratitude by the humans, being accept as heroes. Now, Grimlock fights with his fellow Dinobots and Autobots in the name of freedom.

Weapons: Other than sheer brute strength, Grimlock carries plenty of weapons. His favorite being his Ionizer Odachi affectionately named, "Dragontooth" which he uses to cleave through Decepticons like they were mere ants in his way.

Although blasters are not his ideal method of attack, Grimlock's favorite firearm is his customized Ion Artillery Rifle. With 4 Ion Shells in each barrel, this rifle blows through any lifeform dumb enough to stand in his way. But if the target is either in a large group, stronger or further away, Grimlock can charge the rifle, propelling the shells faster and pushing back the target before detonating in a larger blast radius. But on very rare occasions, Grimlock will carry two of these powerful rifles.

Grimlock also carries Dual Scrapmaker Cannons. These Gatling Guns carry 100 ammo in each clip and fire devastating Ionizer rounds that incinerate everything in their high speed line of fire.

But Grimlock's ultimate weapon, makes his previous firearms look like pea shooters. His Guardian Blaster fires concentrated Ionizer Missile-like blasts that explode into a massive blast radius. Also, the attached bayonet can skewer unsuspecting Decepticons.
