Meet The Family

Friday Afternoon

I woke up late on Friday, I check my clock to see what time it is. 1:00pm
Yikes I slept in. I get up out of bed and walk to my bathroom. I brush my teeth, wash my face, blah blah you know the drill. After I'm done in the bathroom I go back to my room and throw on a juicy couture tracksuit.
I run downstairs and go to the kitchen. I see that my mom left me a note on the table.

Callie,
I went to go do some errands, I'll be back at 5:00 to pick you for dinner with Mr.Dolan. Wear your best dress. Xoxo~Mom

I don't have many dresses so I decide to do a little shopping. Mom does want me to look good for tonight, right? So I get in my car and drive to my favorite shop, Forever 21. (I'm basic I know)

I pick out the cutest little red dress, matching heels, and an adorable heart necklace to go with it. By the time I got back home it was 4:00pm. "Better start getting ready" I say to myself.

After I get dressed and put on my makeup I hear my mom downstairs. "Callie come on we have to leave." She says. I run downstairs as fast as I can in the heels that I'm wearing. "Oh good you're ready, we wouldn't want to keep the Dolans waiting." She says. "The Dolans? I thought we were just having dinner with Mr.Dolan. Who else is gonna be there?" I ask. "Oh didn't I tell you? He has three kids, I'm pretty sure two of them are around your age. Don't worry you'll get along just fine"
Great, I get to hang out with annoying kids for the rest of the night. I think to myself.

Once we get to the restaurant we're greeted almost immediately by who I assume is Mr.Dolan. "Hi! Anne it's so good to see you." He kisses my mom on the cheek and says "This must be your daughter Callie." I shake his hand "It's nice to meet you sir." "Please call me Sean, these are my kids." He gestures next to him. "Cameron, Ethan, and Grayson." I look over to them and see what's probably the most attractive boys I've ever seen. I reach over and shake all of their hands. "Hi I'm Callie."
At the dinner table I sit next to Cameron and across from Grayson and Ethan. "So who's the oldest?" I ask them "Well I'm nineteen and the boys are sixteen." Cameron says, then Ethan quickly chimes in "But I'm 20 minutes older than Grayson" " Oh big whoop Ethan." Grayson rolls his eyes. Cameron laughs and says "so yeah Graysons the youngest and I'm the oldest. How old are you?" "I'm Sixteen, seventeen in December." I say. "Awesome, our birthday is in December too!" Grayson says. " Really? That's awesome!" We all start getting into a conversation about random things until Mr.Dolan interrupts.
"Okay everyone I have something say. I didn't just bring everyone here for dinner. I have an important question that I wanted to ask in front of all of you." He gets up then gets on one knee. My jaw drops. "Anne... Will you marry me?" People around us start awe-ing. "Yes of course I will!" My mom says and everyone starts clapping. I look next to me and see that Cameron and the boys can't believe what we just saw either. "Oh my goodness there's so much to prepare, I can't wait to move in together after the wedding." Mr.Dolan says. "Well why wait? You can move in now with the kids. It will give them a chance to get to know each other better!" My mom says while smiling. "Yeah, what do you kids think?" Mr.Dolan asks. "Sure seems cool." Cameron says after the rest of us had stayed quiet for a while. It's not that I don't want them to get married, it just happened so fast. I'm in shock.

After dinner

After we left the restaurant my mom insisted that we showed the Dolans their future house.
We pulled up to the house and my mom started giving Mr.Dolan the house tour. I showed my future step-siblings around as well. "And this is my room." I said "oh and I guess once you guys move in it'll also be your room Cameron, since we only have one more room available." "Yeah, cause there is no way I'm sharing a room with the boys." Cameron says and laughs. "Hey that's hurtful" Ethan says pretending to cry.
"Okay guys! Time to go"
We all walk downstairs to where my mom and Mr.Dolan are. "Yeah we got a lot of packing to do. If we want to move in next week." Mr.Dolan says. "I'll see you next week" My mom says and gives him a kiss. "It was nice meeting you guys, see you next week" I say "Why don't the four of us exchange numbers, so we can talk before we move in?" Grayson suggests. "Oh yeah good idea" Cameron adds. I hand them all my phone so they can put their numbers in. After they give my phone back Grayson gives me a hug, I can't help but notice how amazing he smells. Then Ethan hugs me, then Cameron. "Bye guys, I'll text you" I say, then I go back to my room to change. After I'm changed I lie down and check my contacts, to see what they all out as their names. I see

I laugh to myself and sigh. Boy they are crazy.
I go to bed and prepare myself for next week. Something tells me it'll be a crazy one.
