I was home.

My sister?
"Danielle, correct? Well, I suppose she isn't really your sister by blood. She wandered into our lands recently and my Alpha has turned soft for her." Takeo continued.
Dani was alive? That was impossible. A wolf of her size couldn't possibly survive a winter like the one that had just passed, and even if she had, why wouldn't the pack that had observed her execute her?
My eyes widened and timed seemed to slow as my breath became visible against the cold night, the memories of the pack informant meeting came flooding back to me and I felt myself becoming light headed.
"Ah so you too understand her capabilities, then you also understand how dangerous she is." He shook his head as his eyes narrowed and he clenched his fist.
Danielle was the furthest thing from dangerous of which I could think. There was no possible way she could go from being the weakest lycan of the House Lican to turning into a tremendous beast, unless there was something unusual about her.
"When was the last time you saw her?" I asked.
He shrugged and paused to think for a moment,
"I'd say about a week ago, she is being trained under the direction of the pack Shaman and the Alpha himself. Everyone has all but accepted her as a member of the pack."
I shook my head as his words absorbed into my mind.
"So, my sister wandered into your lands, your Alpha willingly accepted her and now she's being trained by him and the pack Shaman to become a part of your pack?"
I chuckled a little, and soon that chuckle turned into a laugh until eventually I was laughing hysterically.
"I am sorry to say this, but I don't believe you."
I finished laughing and stood back as Takeo stood, emotionless and devoid of humor, he signaled to his subordinate and she stepped forward.
She held her palm out and in an instant a flash of light emitted from her hand, soon the light became an orb and it eventually settled into an oval shape.
It was a Bellulo, otherwise known as a looking glass. A Bellulo was a way of observing events that took place in another location, the spell resembled the shape of a spyglass and anyone who possessed it could see whatever they desired.
Slowly, she walked over to me and placed the object in my hands before leaning in closely and whispering,
"Think only of what you want to see."
I closed my eyes and shook my head, still doubtful of the situation at hand.
Dani's eyes came to mind and soon her voice, eventually I pictured her entirely standing directly in front of me.
I raised the spyglass up to eye level and took a deep breath before closing my left eye and placing the spyglass in front of my right.
Instantly I was taken to her...and she was spectacular.
She moved with such grace and swiftness as an old man simulated a battle in which arrows moved towards her from all sides.
Her body was toned and overall more developed, the weak and pale little girl who'd fled our pack only a year ago was now an up and coming warrior. She was taller, her posture was better and she timed her moves perfectly as she dodged multiple attacks. She was fearsome, and in a few years with battle experience...she'd be a warrior I wouldn't want to come across.
