I woke up to a small knock on my cell. I got up and looked to see Derek. I rolled my eyes and put my pillowcase over my face.

"I know you're up buttercup", he said

I made a disgusted face and go up.

"Don't call me that ever again and what do you want"? I asked

"I just wanted to see you", he said with a smile

"Well you can see me in the morning", I say rolling my eyes.

"It is morning", he said

"Oh really I don't have a window, phone, or a watch to tell", I said

"Well look", he said showing me his watch that said it was 3:00 am

"I don't have time to read that, I need to go to sleep", I said turning around to go back to "bed".

"Sorry buttercup get some rest", he said

I groaned getting back in my "bed".

"Wake up little bitches", the voice said.

I got up and waited for the guard to unlock my cell.

When she opened the door I ran out to get to the shower first.

After my shower I ran into the cafeteria to fix breakfast.

I put on my hairnet and my apron.

"I'm here", I said

"You're too late to make the food today hopefully you get up faster tomorrow",

I rolled my eyes and got into the line to spoon the food for everyone.

I gave everyone some gruel looking shit and skipped out on breakfast today.

"Why didn't you get up early? Now we have to eat this shit", Mi said picking up some of it and letting it fall off the spoon.

"Cause she was up all night talking to Officer Cutie", said nudging me

"He woke me up", I whined

"Yea, ok", she said

"Whatever", I said laying my head down on the cold steel table.
