I silently sat in my room. I was a mermaid, or so I thought. My twin, Kianna had thought so too.
Present Day
"Mer Mail is here!" My mom, Mrs. Caro yelled. Me and Kianna Caro, identical twins and best friends, raced down the steep stairs dividing the top floor from the bottom floor.
"Anything for us?" Me and Kianna tuned in together.
"Not for you, Kianna. But here is a letter for Sabrina," Mrs. Caro said.
I grab my letter from mom's hand and read the envelope. It read Ms. Sabrina Caro. Yet, there was no return address. Mh red hair reflected off the sun as I ripped open the envelope. A scruffy piece of parchment await me.
Dear Ms. Sabrina Caro,
You have been excepted into Coral Academy for Mer- Guardians, Mer-Wizards, and Mer-Witches. The finest school in Oceania. You are required to come to Downtown Oceania Train Station on August 23rd at 11 A.M. and go to gate 368 on the left and board the train at 11:30 A.M.. We have gone through your records and you are 75 percent magic. You will take a test at Coral Academy to determine your powers and which type of mermaid you are. You will ride the train to the secret entrance and ride sea horses to the academy. Then you will walk to the main hall, sit with the other "First Term" students and be sorted to a dorm. Then from there then I will give you instructions. Attendance is mandatory. Here is your First Term supply list:

"Oh my gosh!" I boasted loudly, "I have just been excepted into the best school in Oceania!"
Kianna looked disappointed. She knew that one of the twins would be accepted because of our mother and father. Mr. Caro was a regular mermaid and Mrs. Caro was a mermaid guardian. Mrs. Caro graduated from Coral Academy.
"Tomorrow we can take Sabrina to Nio Way for her supplies," Mr. Caro said.
"Nio Way?" I and Kianna chimed in together.
