Effect of Love

*Jihoon's POV*

SoonYoung...

He looked at me waiting for an answer.

"Maybe... I'm long gone into your heart" he said as he turned his back slowly, hesitation clear in his actions.

"STOP DOUBTING! It won't hurt to take a step closer!" I shouted as I ran to him and gave him a back hug signaling him not to go

"I'm sorry okay?!... I just wanted you to stay... I just want you close to my heart... I lost hope... I thought you were long gone... It was two months SoonYoung... Two months without you!" I shouted as I hugged him tight

*SoonYoung's POV*

I felt his hug tighten as the same time my heart clenched inside of me.

I don't want to face him...

"Like I wasn't hurting when you were gone! I spent so many nights crying! Because I don't know what's happening to you! If you're hurt or if you're lonely! It makes me die inside that the last thing you told me was Goodbye SoonYoung and you dropped the call! It was eating me inside because I HADN'T HAD A CHANCE TO TELL YOU THAT I LOVE YOU BEFORE I LOST IT ALL!" I shouted back still nit facing him as tears stream down my face

Silence was present

We can only hear our breathing and our small cries

"I just don't want to lose you again..." He whispered

And I couldn't take it so I slowly faced him as I unwrapped his arms that were around my waist.

His eyes... Still the most beautiful pair I've seen...
His skin... Still the sensitive and softest thing I've touched...
His lips... Still the most kissable thing I've kissed...

I then cupped both of my hands on each side of his face as his tears just stream down

"I..." I was about to say something but I suddenly broke down.

"I-I had never been so... pained in my life... A-and t-that w-was losing y-you... And if I had o-one d-day to tell you h-how much t-this heart o-of mine b-beats a-abnormally j-just f-for y-you t-to remind y-you how m-much I-I l-love you t-then i-i w-would even t-tell you I-I would love you f-for... A l-lifetime." I then took a deep breath and continued

"I-If you're afraid you'll l-lose m-me t-then what d-does that m-make m-me huh? I-If y-you didn't k-know I'm o-one million times s-scared... O-Of losing y-you... N-No m-m-matter how many b-beatings... N-No matter h-how m-m-many s-scars... The t-thought that y-you love m-me as m-much as I love y-you makes me f-forget about all of t-them..."

Meanwhile Jihoon replied in a composed matter as he kept in his sobs

"I'm sorry... For being selfish... For... Giving you this much pain... I have my reasons... I have every right... But I did not give clues... I kept everything as secret... Even though... I... We... Promised to tell... The truth... I-I'm s-scared they'll hurt y-you a-and I had caused  s-so much trouble... In your life and-" I cut him off

"Stop saying sorry... You did nothing but to love." I told him as I slowly wrapped my arms around his waist hugging him

"It's not your fault... Don't blame yourself... It's too much for me to handle... To make me think that I made you feel this way... When I'm supposed to carry that burden..." I whispered but enough for him to hear

"How do you love without getting hurt?" He slowly asked

"Then it's not love at all... But selfishness and own satisfaction..."  I told him as another strike of silence was present in the atmosphere

I just hugged him tighter... To tell him how I missed him... So much...

"S-SoonYoung... I... Want to tell you something too... Before... It gets late..." He whispered

"I love you" he said

And with that my heart flipped inside my chest, I cant explain how happy I am...

"Yeah, Yeah, I know. When did you not" I replied in a joking matter as I give off a small smile and he gave me a sly look

"Jihoon!" Somebody called from the back

Woozi then quickly peeked who it was

"Seungkwan!" He shouted back

I then looked back seeing Seventeen running towards us with big smiles on their faces

I then waved my hand to Dk who seems to be behind all of them

Wait... He seems to be slow...

Not to soon he dropped cold on the floor...

"DK!" I shouted as they all looked at him and we all ran to him

We went to the nearest hospital and brought him to the E.R (Emergency Room)

"How did we not know about this!" Dino asked in complete shock

Cancer...

"Don't worry we just need to... Wait... That's all. Hope high and let's hope for his healing." I told him while squeezed Jihoon's hand that was intertwined with mine.

"He kept everything a secret" He said as he stared at the floor

"Don't lose hope. It won't hurt to wait... Let's just wait..." I told him

Wait...
Wait...
Wait...

Just... Wait...

"Excuse me are you the friends of Seokmin?" A doctor went out and asked us

We all nodded

He sighed deep not giving a clue if it's going to be bad news or good news...

"I'm sorry"

In an instant my heart dropped.

They did not know Someone was watching them from afar.
