Chapter 8- Another Truth Or Dare

~Another Truth Or Dare~

~The Next Day~

(Madison's P.O.V.)

 I got up early feeling all funny inside in a very good way. I kept replaying the things that happened last night. I jumped in the shower and took a warm bath. After, i wore my school uniform and headed downstairs and find my mother still in her pajamas and watching a movie on Netflix.

"Mom? I'm going to be late!" i exclaimed and stepped right in front of her blocking the view of the television

"I know sweetie! Someone's already waiting for you outside." she tries to carefully push me out of the way. 

Outside? Did she hire me a personal chauffeur?

I took my bag from the floor and walked towards the door. I was expecting a man waiting for mw with a car but instead, i found--

"Hey beautiful!" a man greets me sweetly and waves his hand 

Luke.

I felt my cheeks burn because of his compliment. I went towards him and we started to walk

"Let's walk to school together. Since it's still early, let's have some ice cream" he smiles at me sweetly.

Yes! Ice cream!

After nine minutes of walking, we entered the ice cream parlor and Luke starts to drool.

"I'll get two scoops of chocolate and vanilla. One scoop of each flavor" Luke explains his order to the man

"And for your girlfriend?" he man asked

My eyes widen in shock. I feel my knees weaken because of the man's question

"She's not my girlfriend..." Luke laughs and tells it to the vendor

Oh

"...She's my lovely fiance!" He chirped like a little kid and took my hand. 

"That's sweet. But what will you get, love?" he asked me

"I'll get--" i was cut of by Luke

"One scoop of chocolate mint and one scoop of cookies and cream"

At least two minutes passed, the kind vendor gave us our food and we sat down on the table for two.

 "So, can i copy the french thing?" he asked while licking his ice cream

"No." i answered trying to hide my smile

"Please?"

"Nope"

"Pretty please? I'll kiss you" he winks

I choked on the big piece of chocolate. Luke handed me an opened water bottle and i drank almost the half of it

"Wow. I had no idea i can affect you in that way" he laughs at me and i playfully pouted

We continued to talk about random things without minding about the time. This moment is too precious to destroy. But then, Luke's smile suddenly fades.

"Don't turn around" he says in a low voice

"Why?"

"It's those three girls that i saved you from the girl's locker room"

"oh" i kept my head down while eating my ice cream

"Okay, they're gone" he whispered

"We're going to be late for school. Let's go" i said coldly.
