Im sorry

Kai's pov

   I woke up around 10 decided to skip school today because I stayed up all night crying. The thoughts from yesterday came rushing back to my mind, the messages , what she said to me. I began to cry once again

   'Why would you fall for a straight girl Kai that's rule number 1' I thought "I'm so fucking stupid" I said while punching the wall

   Right then my door flung open and I felt arms wrap around me as they told me to stop I immediately knew it was my older brother Ashton "Kai stop this is getting you no where" he said pulling me away from the wall

   I broke down into tears "I'm so stupid I cried into Ashton's arms "Kai , Kai what happened" he said rubbing my back I nodded toward my phone and he picked it up.

     The words he read aloud "look Kai I don't think we should be friends anymore you have feelings for me that I could never return I'm sorry.... I'm straight. And on top of that I have a boyfriend who loves and cares about me. So I think it's better we keep our distances. Sorry again" -kaylee

     "That's fucked up, Kai what the hell happened" He said slamming my phone down "kaylee... And I... We uh... kinda made out and she ... Now regrets it all" I said through sniffles "what the fuck if she didn't like you she wouldn't have kissed you, what I see is she's trying to find out her feelings and that's okay give her time okay my favorite gay"  Ashton spoke gently as he flashed a sincere smile. "Yeah I guess thank you bubba you always make me feel better" I said reminding him of his nickname. "Mhmm" he nodded as he walked out of my room

Kaylee's pov

   The empty seat next to me scared me as I wondered where Kai was, what she was doing, if she was okay. I didn't mean to hurt her. All I can think about is the last text I got from her "k", damn why did I cut our friendship off I'm so stupid. I mean I'm not gay but that doesn't mean I have to cut everything off. And what the hell was that spark when we touched or kissed god I miss it I miss her I can't stop thinking about her.

"Miss smith, is everything alright" Mrs Mendoza asked with a concerned look on her face

"Um yeah thanks everything's okay" I said with a fake smile plastered on my face

----After school

     As soon as the bell rang I bolted out to my car as today I took my car to school to avoid Liam. I started to drive I don't even know where I'm just driving.

About 15 minutes later I find myself in front of Kai's house I don't even know why, but obviously I was here for a reason. I turned off the car and jogged to the front door. I was hesitant to knock but did anyway, a woman with medium length brown hair that stood around 5'5 "hi, I'm looking for Kai" I said shyly "yeah come in she's upstairs, her room is farthest one to the left" she said "um thank you Mrs. Winston" I whispered as I shut the door behind me.

I was about to walk into Kai's room before a taller guy about 6'5 with wavy brown stopped me "you must be kaylee" he said with his hand in front of the door " um yeah you must be Kai's older brother Ashton" I whispered he glared at my words "yeah, you hurt her, she doesn't want to see you right now, and I swear you hurt her again I will have my sisters mess you up" he spoke coldly I pushed passed him and walked into Kai's room anyway I could tell she had been crying I shut the door behind me and her eyes bolted up to me

     "oh, um, kaylee, why are you here" she said wiping her face of tears and pushing the tissues on the floor. I rushed over to her bed I didn't say a word I just wrapped my arms around her

"God Kai I missed you" I said while releasing the hug "but I..." Kai started I cut her off by saying "I'm so sorry I know I fucked up but I can't not be friends with you, you mean way too much to me" Kai flashed me that heart warming smile and pulled me into another hug "since you kinda already know I should tell you anyway, kaylee I have hella feelings for you are so perfect and beautiful and-" Kai stated until I cut her off engulfing her into a hug

Kai and I spent the entire night talking and laughing until we fell asleep in each others arms.
