Chapter 7

Leah's POV

I saw that she wasn't going to give up without a fight.

"Fine, I'll Tell you." I sighed.

But I knew I was just going to Tell her our cover story.

*Flashback to The 8th Grade*

"You are the best thing that ever happened to me. I swear." he smiled down at me.

"JJ, I love you." I mumbled into his chest.

"I love you too, Leah." he kissed my forehead and we fell asleep.

The next morning I saw 'JJ' was gone.

No letters, No notes, No nothing.

I changed into some sweats and a shirt.

Grabbing my phone, I decided to go for a walk to the park.

Where is he. I thought.

That's my ringtone.

I whipped my phone out and answered the Call.

"Hello?" I asked.

I couldn't hear anything But breathing.

Heavy breathing.

"She won't find out right?" I heard a girls voice Ask.

"Positive. there is No way She will. Don't worry so much Kass." he said.

my phone slipped out of my grasp. falling face down to the concrete floor.

I could hear the screen cracking.

"He's cheating on me." I broke down into sobs.

1/12/09. Our 1 year anniversary. He cheated on me on our anniversary.

'I knew you were trouble. I never should have dated you. If you didn't already notice. Were done. It's over. I'm through with you.' I texted him.

It started to rain so I ran home.

"I never want to see him again."

He never replied me though.

a part of me felt sad but mostly. I felt free.

Flashback over.

"I'm gonna bash him. and break him to pieces and rip his arse to shreds and make sure he can never have children because he is a sick and dirty bastard who doesn't even deserve Kassidy and he.. he.." Veronica was beginning to run out of breath.

"Calm down. Im over it. But you please don't Tell Kassidy. It'll hurt her to much." I begged her. I couldn't let Joel get hurt because of the cover story.

She nodded and we both grabbed our bags and walked over to Marcel's car.

I felt relieved that She wasn't going to do anything rash, But I couldn't help But feel that, we were being watched.

Kassidy's POV

She was 'JJ's ex-girlfriend.

I feel so guilty.

I thought he was dating Leah Johnson.

I hate him so much, he lied to me.

These 4 years. The whole time he was lying.

And Leah, She probably doesn't know it was me.

She's gonna hate me.

"Babe. Over here." I hear my so called boyfriend Call out to me.

I plastered on a fake smile and walked out to meet him.

I need to Tell Leah. Everyone.
