(Shadow's POV)
I held him close and petted him, hearing him purr. I smiled, "I won't leave you. Ever."
That made him purr more, "thank you, Shadow." I nuzzled his head and kissed it. He closed his eyes and sighed.
I held him close until I heard slight snoring. I looked at his face to see him calm, muscle relaxed and a small smile. I smiled, I'll NEVER leave you!
I picked him up and layed him on his bed. I went back to my room, about two doors down, and grabbed the bags I packed.I headed back to Sonic's room.
I opened the door to see Sonic holding a small teddy bear, sleeping soundly.I smiled and walked to him. I sat the duffle bag on the ground and sat on the bed.
I started to lightly tickle his left ear. He slowly opened his left eye and smiled, "hey." I smiled, "hey. Ready to get going?"
He nodded and sat up, holding the bear close to him. "Where did you get the bear?" He looked at the teddy bear and held it close, "I've had it for a while but I forgot that I hid it in my head quills. His name is Alex and I got him from my mom."
I smiled, "okay. Well, you need to stay warm because it's in a cold climate. Blankets or jackets?"
