My head stung as my memories flooded into my mind like bolts of electricity. One weary eyelid; followed by another slowly opened reaviling a vibrant forest full of coruscating flowers and green slimes and then it all went dark.
"I told you not to hit him with the hammer Andrew, you could've killed the poor guy," argued an old man (I couldn't see him clearly).
"He would've died anyway. Anyway why are you here Gus?" replied Andrew.
"You saw those 2 gold coins in his pocket. Profit is good!" answered Gus.
At that point a third man walked in, loading a gun as he traipsed over some bullets.
"We could always rob him. You know, like me and Ovbere used to do with those skeletons," he yelled "Ha ha... Those were the days."
At that point I knew I had to escape.
"No you can't Demetrious. That's not right." I relaxed for a second. "For all we know he might be here to help."
"We believed that with that Lost Girl and she turned into a monster," replied Demetrious.
"Well Laura should've treated him by now so we'll have to see."
"How are you?"
I leaped up like a cheetah.
"Fine..." My head twisted around to see the most attractive women ever, "I'm just a bit clueless of where I am... and what's happened."
"Welcome to Terraria, one big game of Survival. Once every year someone new comes into this world. We are the last survivors. Or at least I think so. Noone knows."
"But how do I leave? Go back... Back to the real world. If I actually want to."
"Well we have a prediction. We think you need to get the code-masters attention by killing all the bosses but noone has succeeded. You are the 666th person to try. Bit unlucky in my opinion. Now meet the other survivors, Andrew who will help you and provide a lot more information. Gus the merchant-a bit of old grumpiness in my opinion, Demetrious the Arms Dealer and finally the worst - Ovbere the demolitionist. Oh how many times I've sewn his limbs back on. Anyway here have this."
The delectable soup she handed me was the best I ever tasted.
"Well what should I do now."
"Talk to Andrew. He'll explain everything."
As I opened the door air rushed through an open window into my face. I saw Andrew sitting down next to a glass of ale.
"Hello Jack. I'm Andrew your Guide to this wonderful but very dangerous world."
"Um... Hi"
"Alright so Jack you may need to sleep. Things get all deadly at night. Your room is to the left forth one along. We've given you some spare clothes, Gus lended you a copper sword and wooden armour which he took that gold coin of yours for and Demetrious gave you a Flintock. However if you're ever gonna kill a boss you need better. I'll explain tomorrow."
