It didn't work, not surprisingly. The uninstaller remained locked.
I concentrated and jogged my brain for the self-taught coding lessons that were perfect for this situation. I rarely hacked, but I knew I was highly capable of doing so.
Luckily this was Michael's computer, so I knew that the hashcat tool was hidden somewhere. I brought it up and began forming a wordlist of the passwords I had thought of earlier.

There needed to be a lot more. I jotted down tons of other possible passwords before resuming with hashcat. If I could extract the encryptions and use the tool to find the right one, the password would be delivered.
Once it was set I launched the command:
./hashcat-cli64.bin -m 0 bfield.hash phpbb.txt -o plain_wordlist_results.txt
Way too many password candidates were being displayed on the screen. I didn't have the time to try each one.
Then I remembered.
Rules.
Supplementing the characters with substitutional values will increase the efficiency of the outcome.
The lesson was coming back to me. Right.
I returned to my wordlist and changed things around.

I relaunched the attack with the new changes.
./hashcat-cli64.bin -m 0 bfield.hash phpbb.txt -o wordlist_with2rules.txt--rules 2_custom_rules
./hashcat-cli64.bin -m 0 bfield.hash phpbb.txt -o wordlist_with2rules.txt--rules 2_custom_rules --debug-mode=1 --debug-file=successful_rules.txt
The screen filled with varying digits and rolled down as the program searched for password hashes. I found the hashes and copied them into a different file.
I entered the command to begin cracking the encryptions. After ten minutes I checked back on it and pressed enter. The program was still not complete.
It was 6:50 by now. This thing had better hurry.
When it was 7:20 I checked it again. It finally finished! The hashes were recovered, which meant I could now open the cracked.txt file to view the possible passwords.
I scrolled through and tried each one.

Come on...

If I was late, they'd come for me. They'd know I was up to something.
Then...
YES. IT WORKED.
A huge feeling of relief and satisfaction overwhelmed me when the passkey was accepted. It consisted of lower and uppercase characters with scattered numbers in between. Very smart, but genius Nate had cracked the code.
